Empty messages
Hello Beta-Bats, Today, I received a second empty message since using this TB! version. The first one, from june, 11th was from Rick Grunwald for Tbbeta. Except for the headers, absolutely nothing could be seen, the second one was in another group; the latter was an html message where the headers and the attached jpg could be seen, the content of the message itself (without the jpg) could be seen when opened in my browser. Did anyone else have a similar experience? Should I redirect a copy somewhere? -- Best Wishes, Mark using The Bat! 4.2.1.1 Windows XP Professional/5.1 build 2600 Service Pack 3 (1 days 22:35:13) on Dual Intel Pentium III MyMacros 1.11a zOmbie's Macros Version 0.7 Current beta is 4.2.4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Did anyone else have a similar experience? Should I redirect a copy somewhere? A few days ago I realized a few mails not being shown. Header yes, content no. But there was nothing wrong with the mails as I was able to read them and display them correctly before. Closing and restarting The Bat solved the problem. I couldn't reproduce it since then and I didn't experience this behavior again. On June, 11 I received four TBBETA-mails from Rick. I had no problems with any of them. -- Best regards, mse Using The Bat! v4.2.4 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 3 Current beta is 4.2.4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I have occasionally had such blank messages usually to and from no one and so infrequently that I have not reported them. It has been quite a while since I have had one. I DID post to the list on 6/11 about delayed sending and got no replies. I thought it was because everyone was still in tar and feather Ritlabs over IMAP mode. Re: Empty messages
Hello, Citing myself once more: MP Today, I received a second empty message since using this TB! version. MP The first one, from june, 11th was from Rick Grunwald for Tbbeta. MP Except for the headers, absolutely nothing could be seen, the second one was in MP another group; the latter was an html message where the headers and the attached MP jpg could be seen, the content of the message itself (without the jpg) could be MP seen when opened in my browser. As far as the HTML-message is concerned: I apparently jumped to the conclusion the problem had to do with TB! since no one else in that group seemed to be affected. When I asked others wether they had any problem with that particular message, it turned out everyone had problems with it, whatever mailer they were using, but no one had bothered to mention it. Probably bad or damaged html-code. For Rick's message: see my reply to his mail. -- Best wishes, Mark __ Message made with The Bat, 4.2.1.1 started replying on zondag 14 juni 2009 at 1:34:19 Current beta is 4.2.6 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Filtering on empty messages
I frequently receive spam from these known spam sites: http://200.187.137.10 and http://200.187.137.3 The messages are never sent from these adresses but they all have in common that they only contain a html attachment that looks something like this: htmlbodya href=http://200.187.137.10/microsoft/?8965812503690901;img border=0 src=http://200.187.137.10/microsoft/update.php;/body/html Is is possible to filter on the content of the html part? -- Regards, Mogens Using The Bat! On Monday, September 22, 2003, at 1:51:27 PM, Mogens Holst has created a mail: Is is possible to filter on the content of the html part? Or on RAW DATA, perhaps? That'd be really nice. The whole message, headers, raw body, everything, not even uu-decoded or anything. One vote from me.
