So to be precise, my suggestion is to add a choice "Always download images from this sender". And then this sender will be added to the IDM. I htink this is how it worked in the past. -- Cheers, Thomas. Message reply created with The Bat! And which is "this URL"?. A single message may have more than just one URL. > Having to copy the URL and paste it manually into Tools / Image > Download Manager / Create Rule and then paste it, is not efficient. You don't need to copy the URL and paste it. Just open the Image Download Manager and on the Downloads tab select the URL you want to create the rule for and click on Create Rule button. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Hello Stefan, > By "known" actually meant URLs allowed by download rules there. This is both confusing and costs time, each day again. Each morning, after starting my pc and The Bat!, I mark pro inbound the spam mails, send them to the Spamtrap at the mailserver and add them as spam in Antispamsniper. It might be an idea to also blacklist the URLs or adresses of those marked spam mails in a blacklist tied to the IDL. -- Kind regards, Gunivortus Goos The Bat! Just open the Image > Download Manager and on the Downloads tab select the URL you want to > create the rule for and click on Create Rule button. I didn't see anything like that just now. I saw a whole confusing list of URLs. When clicking on the tab Rules, I saw some email addresses that I had whitelisted earlier. Something like this I would expect, so that I just need to click OK. Or, as in the past, a menu item "Whitelist this sender" in addition to "Open IDM". Will make for increased work efficiency. -- Cheers, Thomas. Message reply created with The Bat! I mentioned this with consistency in mind. It's cosmetic only. All other menu items that do not directly create action when clicked on, but offer a choice or soemthing else to clock before an action is taken, have an arrow. -- Cheers, Thomas. Hello Gunivortus, > It was set to: Deny unknown. > However, when is a sender unknown? This is just an old wording and it just confirms my hyphothesis that the setting in the preferences is out of sync with the old setting of the image download manager ("Deny unknown" was the default before switching to Chromium Engine). By "known" actually meant URLs allowed by download rules there. -- Best regards, Stefan Tanurkov 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I am a long.time PayPal user, use it several times a week, and so, I would not see consider paypal.com as unknown. Yet, all media of my PayPal emails, (I've even a special folder for them) were grayed out. It is the same for companies I am subscribed to, to get their news, such as CCleaner, Ebay.de, etc. I do not have any of them in an address book, as most of them are newsletters - one-way mails. I've set it now to allow all, but that is not preferred, as I do not need media from spam mails, be they about bitcoins, sex or medicine 'offers'. -- Kind regards, Gunivortus Goos The Bat! Hello, In Preferences - HTML Viewer - Download external Media, it is set to "Automatically for all sources". Nonetheless, both in older and new HTML mails, the pictures are not visible anymore. Yet, I'd like to have them in the mails to prevent me getting them for each mail separately. -- Kind regards, Gunivortus Goos The Bat!
