I did not follow the whole thread, but I confirm, that sometimes when
I hit Alt+F2 when an account is selected, the given account's Inbox's
mails appears in the mail list, despite the fact that there is NO
folder selected. I cannot reproduce but this bug is here from ca. v3.5
or so.

Next time I make a screenshot.

It seems to be an available RAM or swap file issue. Depending on what
is going on it is even possible that it is a video chip issue. Task
Manager [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Esc] might shed some light on the issue.
