and copies the file to the inbox instead of the deleted folder, and
that a better default is to stop the filter from doing anything
even if the other things it is doing could include sending a copy
of the message to another account or another user, changing a color
code, sending a reply to the sender with some other important
 information. This a bad idea.

V A filter has different actions. We are talking about sending a
V warning message. Or just cancel the copy/move actions. The
V coloring, sending mail actions could be still executed.

A filter is defined as a whole. Either it make the whole action or it
shouldn't do any and throw a warning and deactivate the filter.

V So, you think that two copies from mails in Sent folder is correct?

V I prefer sending me a warning message, that this and this filter
V is affected if you delete this filter.

V I would not say, it is a bug. It is an inconvenience.

In my opinion it's a bug. Either disable the filter or delete it with
the folder. I would prefer the first option.

Ah, that then is a bug. I didn't try it, but the message should be
 moved to the default.

V The filter should be disabled, at least...

You have my support! :)

V I agree. BUT TB! SHOULD NOT DO what I did not command it to do. You
V can argue, but you are on the dark side :) What will happen if I copy
V a mail from the Inbox folder and I delete the destination folder? Two
V mails in Inbox?? Is it logical or you? I hope not...

You ARE correct Vili. However, it would be good to receive the same
type of warning when deleting a folder as is given when deleting or
moving a parked message. Another alternative I like even better is to
disallow folder deletion altogether until the user removes all
references to the folder in the filters. That is something that is
fairly easily implemented. Parked messages are always visible but
filters are not...out of sight, out of mind.
