It tries to group requests to one folder in one connection. There are
requests, which don't need folder 'selection', they are sent no matter
of current state.

Yes, it works in similar manner in my The Bat!. Here %SetEditor macro works
also in in AB reply templates, not only in new message AB template.

I've never had stability problems with TB!, all my filters are server side,
too. What we're talking about here is the slooow response of the prog to
server commands which results in a lag (or blank message panel) while TB!
collects and sorts messages.

The only version of TB! which has worked for me is 3.61.10 where Ritlabs
somehow produced a version with acceptable IMAP speed.

OK, this version is pretty much unusable for me, I keep getting the following
AVs:

,-
| Access violation at address 004048BC in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of address
02A8.
| Access violation at address 0082F874 in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of address

| Access violation at address 0082F874 in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of address

And it's often crashing with one of the following two backtraces:

Very unstable - crashed right after it started the first time (and threw my
debugger in infinite loop - couldn't copy the backtrace), vanished after a
few minutes the 2nd time, and popped up a few AVs in the 3rd (and current)
run.

Actually, my bad. I was referring to .10 echo. I just upgraded to .11
and reload is back.

at first glance: confirmed - later on: not confirmed.

Did you by any chance customize your GUI some versions ago? I did
so (I guess about V 3.51 or so) - my "yellowish icons" appeared and
today I saw the reload-option was gone. I renamed my batskin.xml and
restarted TB - now the reload option appeared again but the "yellowish
icons" were gone - naturally :-(

May be the internal version of batskim.xml is not quite compatible
with older external versions - there could be a greater problem
regarding customization and development of GUI customization

As I noticed on the connection center, the IMAP-tasks are now executed
"block by block". I have four connections simultaneous activated and
TheBat! now waits with new tasks until all tasks of the block are ready
and all four tasks are executed parallel.
That's what it's looking like ... ?

Don't know if this behaviour is meant by the above mentioned change but
that's what I noticed with this new beta :)

On IMAP accounts, I can no longer find the "reload" option. It used to
