Another similar problem: to get the ^ character, I press AltGr+R on my
keyboard, and while ^ does get inserted, the paragraph also aligns to the right
(I'm assuming due to a clash with Alt+R shortcut).

That was also the case for Beta 2 (which I posed here)

It looks like the launcher looks in "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\The Bat!"
irrespective of the location you specify when installing

I worked around this by creating a link "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\The

That functionality is implemented in the new Address Book. You can find it this

Starting The Bat! "P:\The Bat!\Main\10.0.0.4\32\TheBat.exe" by hand
with double-click works, program opens.
Weird.
My bat installation no longer has thebat.exe. That would be left over
from tb v 9.
I had the "no start" problem too, but solved it by saving the v9 "mail"
directory aside.
And then completely uninstalling v9. Install v10 to a new program
folder,

and move your saved "mail" directory inside the new tb program folder.
You will need to tell v10 to use the "mail" directory to restore your
mail account structure. Or you can simply abandon the old account
structure and reenter accounts

in v10 from scratch.
