Welcome to the weird filter > syndrome ;-) If not exactly the same it is certainly very similar. What I replied to you then is that I had seen someone (Martin Schuster) reporting something similar previously. But there is one thing that bothers me. It isn't that some filters are lost or not displayed, it looks like the two versions (3.99.06 and 3.99.14 in my case) are displaying and using different set of filters. If you look carefully at the two PNG I sent, you will notice that there are two filters with different names: 3.99.06 3.99.14 TBThe Bat SIG Red Iris I remember having renamed these filters not too long ago. So, it looks like 3.99.14 may be looking at "an old set of filters". But then, the ACCOUNT.SRB file is unique for this account, which completely puzzles me. I have also realised that the filters that seem to be "missing" in Outgoing, Read and Replied, (Familia, Amigos, NASA) are filters that I have added somewhat recently. I don't know for sure but I was probably using 3.99.06 when I added them. -- Best regards, Miguel A. But then, the M> ACCOUNT.SRB file is unique for this account, which completely puzzles me. Likewise and why should they suddenly change too? I've dabbled with all the recent betas but always gone back to 3.99.8 after a day or two as I find the new ones totally unworkable and this filter problem was this particular version. I even got the same results when importing from my back up. What's even stranger is that my filters showed exactly the same fault when I fired up Voyager from my USB stick. That I couldn't understand. My filters were all ones I'd had for ages although I might have added one new one which could have changed the whole set up completely. I'm afraid I've lost a lot of confidence in TB! recently. In October I plan to move completely across to using a Mac and I think I can get by without using any Windows programmes at all so it'll be goodbye to TB! and hello to Mac mail. However, the Message Finder is now misbehaving when it is closed while maximized -- even when the Message Finder was maximized on the primary monitor. When I open the Message Finder after closing it maximized, it flashes on the appropriate screen, then minimizes to the primary monitor (based on where the task bar icon appears). Then I must try to restore it twice to get it to open, and then it opens maximized on the monitor where TheBat!'s main window is residing, instead of the monitor where the Message Finder was closed. However, when the Message Finder is closed when restored (i.e. neither maximized nor minimized) it opens again in the same SIZE it was closed, but centered over TheBat!'s main window. I guess it would depend on what hotkey combo was used and what key preview method the blocking applications use. If they were looking for the same hotkey combo and inserted themselves into the Win32 keyhook chain then they would get it before TB. The only remedy is to choose a different combo. I use Ctrl+Alt+Shift+B. Is that the default? I don't recall. I don't ever press those keys... I pick up a specific mouse gesture in StrokeIt to interpret as that keystroke, so the complexity doesn't bother me. -- Cheers -- //.arck D Pearlstone -- List moderator and fellow end user TB! v3.99.15 (BETA) on Windows Vista 6.0.6000 ' pgp5b1QV7h33q.pgp Description: PGP signature Current beta is 3.99.14 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
