Hi Eddie,

This is how I added the RSS Feed to The Bat!:

Thanks Gunivortus for this detailed description. A first test was not
very successful and needs to be sorted out. Pls see my msg
 mid:416015339.20090117082...@gmail.com to Gleason.

Hmmm...
Did you try it my way?
That way you don't need to dive into the opml file at all.
I exported that file from Feedreader 3.13 to my maildirectory. That's all, it is
read by the plugin without any problem.

Thanks Gunivortus for this detailed description. A first test was
not very successful and needs to be sorted out. Pls see my msg
 mid:416015339.20090117082...@gmail.com to Gleason.

 Hmmm...
Did you try it my way?
That way you don't need to dive into the opml file at all.
I exported that file from Feedreader 3.13 to my maildirectory. That's all, it
 is
read by the plugin without any problem.

Yes I did. I just checked again and it looks as you wrote. Further I
re-exported my Feeds with 'Feedreader' and got the same result (see
attachment). A reload of my Feeds in TB! showed now another result. No
Folders and only 'Achilles' is now shown.

I also cross checked with
http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/thebat/tips_detail.php?ID=2294 and
it's all identical. Except in the filters (see below paragraph).

When I look at the sample page on the RITlabs server
http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/thebat/tips_detail.php?ID=2294
there is a difference in the filter.

It says:
',- [ ]
'| Example of the filter:
'| TB! Message Filter
'| beginFilter
'| UID: [82971A28.01C6A96A.73A39E9D.04EB9116]
'| Name: All\20RSS
'| Filter: {\D\A\20`21\D\A} MoveMessage AutoFolder folder
\5C\5CRSS\5CInbox\5C%OHEADER(\22X-parent-outline-title\22)\5C%OHEADER(\22X-outline-title\22)
'| IsActive
'| Ignore
'| endFilter
`-

And I have:
',- [ ]
'| TB! Message Filter
'| beginFilter
'| UID: [23457C00.01C97879.2FA94762.06312EEC]
'| Name: all\20RSS
'| Filter: {\0D\0A\20`21\0D\0A}
'| MoveMessage AutoFolder folder
\5C\5CRSS\20Feeds\5CInbox\5C%OHEADER(“X-parent-outline-title”)\5C%OHEADER(“X-outline-title”)
'| IsActive
'| Ignore
'| endFilter
`-

The sample uses \22X-parent-outline-title\22 where I see in my
Filter “X-parent-outline-title”.

Gravity doesn't exist. The Earth sucks.

Yeah, Earth is against me.

Ah... I did that by hand through 'Account' - 'sorting office filters' - 'new

It is a bit more work, but that way it isn't nessesary to edit filtercoding.

I believe it has an error in the suggested filter. It uses

Aside of that, it doesn't 'remind' that the %OHEADER macro requires that
the referenced header must have been previously defined in Options -

I too have the original files from the link mentioned there but

 1. Firefox's extension dictionary *is* richer
 2. It's considerably faster!

Are you sure that they are not the same? The el-GR.dic filesize is
6854564 bytes and the el-GR.aff filesize is 15659 bytes in both the
OpenOffice and the Firefox addon versions.

An other Firefox addon that I saw includes a combined Greek and
English spell check dictionary.

I mean this. It's size is 14.404.860 bytes and it has 1.119.921 greek words
(with their variation)

Is my assumption correct that I have to rename the two files to
el_GR.dic and el_GR.aff respectively? I couldn't get The Bat to
recognize the Greek spell checker without doing this renaming.

Renaming Account didn't work

2009-01-17 Thread Eddie Castelli
Dear all,

I have this issue with making my RSS work. The RSS account was, when
setup, named RSS Feeds. This morning I have renamed this Account to
RSSfeeds (see attachment). TB! didn't rename my account on the HD
(looking with Explorer) instead created a new account by the new name.
The old account is still present with only the Inbox folder present.

Is this, should it be a bug, known to TB!beta community?
