Networking Question

Hello TBUDL,

In a client's installation, Non-TCP workstations store outgoing
e-mail in the outbox and do not appear to trigger the 'send
immediately' function in the Bat Server.

The operator on the Bat server computer must select 'Send Queued
Mail' to get the messages sent.

  Any ideas?

Best regards,
 Clemens Vermeulen

You have to add this line in the Template (Menu : Account |

If you write it in a message editor it is not considered as a

Is that the problem ?

Address Book file format

1999-10-21 Thread Juan Manuel

Hi, friends.

I would like to know the AB file format, so I can make a little application to
handle some data stored in it. At least until TB can do it by itself.

Kill filters

1999-10-21 Thread Juan Manuel

Hi.

I would like to know if Kill filters kill the messages with *all* the signal
strings in Routing, or with *any* of the signal strings in Routing.

Besides, how can I make kill filters to delete messages with empty "To:" fields?

TIA

*.bmp attachment

1999-10-21 Thread §yafril Hermansyah

Hello The Bat! List Member,

I just receive one attachment that make The Bat! "working hard".
The message size (plus the attachment) only 3,316,620 Bytes (not big,
right), but to view or open this message I need more than 10 minutes.

Later, I realize that the attachment in *.bmp format, and the content
is fax image (2.3 MB size).

Then I close TB, start again and disable HTML auto-view; now I need
around 2 minutes to view the message (IMHO still not "normal", too
slow). To open the attachment, I need around 5 minutes, change the
setting to external viewer, then I just need 1 minutes.

Any explanation why TB so slow to view/open messages with *.bmp
attachment ?

No, I'm running Netscape all the time. Also using 4.7 now. No problem
at all.

You might want to check whether you have set Netscpae Messenger to
automatically check your POP mail every xx minutes. As far as I know
there is a problem with the POP protocol if there is more than one
connection at the same time to a POP account.
