The Bat! won't send or receive after waking from hibernation (Windows 2000)
Hello TBUDL, I have a strange problem: After my Windows 2000 laptop wakes up after hibernation The Bat! won't send or receive mail. It hangs on connecting to the mail server(s). I have to abort the process through the connection center. All other software using either my dial-up or LAN connections work fine. I can do my www, my icq and my irc without problems, but I have to reboot to get mail delivered and collected with The Bat!. I am using version 1.53d, but I have the feeling it has been like this for a while. TIA for help. -- Best Regards, Christian Dysthe [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.dysthe.net ICQ: 3945810 Denial is not a river in Egypt -- __ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org

C I'm using TheBat! 1.53bis. While I am not an expert on this, I did get the same feeling after the New Connection centre was opened. However after checking the log (Account/View Log) I found that TB was indeed checking mail. And the only setting reqd was what u have done. Well, that was what I first thought. But the log shows me that no mail is checked when I don't do that manually. When I hit F2, new mail shows up. Very strange. Confirmed here, exactly the same symptoms, but it happens not only after returning from hibernation but also after returning from suspend to ram. Most of the time it goes back to normal after a while (about 3 minutes), but a reboot helps instantly. -- Regards, Lars The Bat! 1.53d on Windows NT 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 2 |Lars Geiger | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]| | PGP Key: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=GetPublicKey | -- __ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org
