Open your address book File Import

Pick a format from the list that Lookout Distress is capable of.
Export the AB from OE in that format and then import it into TB!

TB Any idea why?

Not really.
The differences between a forwarded/redirected message and the
original are
-The PGP-MIME attachment is missing in the new message, but AFAIK TB
 has no problem with those
-The original has these headers:
  Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-2022-jp
  Content-Disposition: inline
  Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
 The new has these:
  Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
  Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
-I suppose it has something to do with the charset or the
quoted-printable that the original message is flooded with =20's and
=3D's, but the place where TB stops displaying the message isn't at
one of those, but in the middele of a word. Over here the message
stops being displayed in the middle of the word 'potential' in the
sentence 'note is that 1.3.29 addresses and fixes 1 potential security issue:'
It ends at '1 pot', is that the same for you? If it is we could
 point Ritlabs to this.

I tried different viewers for the message and that didn't help.

Only issue is that you'd like to have this template inherited by a set

Address Book group with al the addresses of your mailing lists and put
this reply template in the properties of said AB group.

BTW This is the third message of yours that I'm replying to this

and the listfooter in order to trim my quotes. When you put a
signature delimiter (dashdashspaceenter on a newline) just

automatically from the reply.
In order to see what I mean, just reply to this message.
This line should be the last one quoted, though it isn't the last in my mail.

In an AB template it should be easy. You can insert his/her name
without any macros. ;-)

WS I use this to get the first name from the address book:
WS %AbFROMFirstName

You want to get the first name of the recipient in a reply, that means
you can get it the current To or from the old from, so the macro would
be %ABToFirstName (the current To) or %ABOFromFirstName ( the Old From)
When you're using this in an ABTemplate you're sure that you've got an
AB listing for your recipient, but when you're using this in a folder
or account template, it's possible that you haven't got a AB listing
for the original poster, so you could use:
%ABOFromFirstName=OFromFName this macro'll take the first name from
the AB and when that's not possible it takes the first name from the
old from header.

they are in the addressbook (or group), then complete the actions for
that email. Is that what you're after?

DSI no in this case you intercept all emails in Address Book, I want a
DSI filter on one entry.

DSI If for exemple in address book a Guy is named Jimi Hendrix
DSI with 3 emails like :

Can be done.
Create a AB group called Jimi
Add only one entry to this group (Yep our friend with the three
addresses)
Now create the filter that Jonathan mentioned and let it check whether
the sender address is in the address book in the group 'Jimi'

JBL I am using Windows XP but an earlier version of TB than you are, and

JBL that you are using a TB beta, so perhaps that is still the issue.

it might be the issue, but you would think that reinstalling a complete
package would fix it. For the beta, all I do is copy over the TheBat.exe
file, so all my settings should stay...

Hi Paul,

I'm not looking at my TB! at the moment, but I wonder if this *could*
have something to do with it...

In your preferences, do you have S/MIME enabled? I don't know if that
being enabled or disabled should make any difference in the options
available to you...it's just a wild guess.

Yes but it needs to create one group per entry :/

Sure, but it does what you want it to. It's not like AB groups use
extensive hard disk real estate is it?

Besides it still works when you decide to give your friend with the
three addresses three entries, so you're able to send mail to each
address.

Microsoft CryptoAPI.

It might be easier to look at the log file to se what the error was. I

No; I have the same problem as Scott. I get the error sound, but then
I have to open the logs for currently 12 accounts (others have more)
to see which account it was that failed to pick up mail.

What he is asking for, and I second that, is an easy way to determine
which account has a problem. If this is done by colouring the account
name (not folder name), I would also think that the colour should be
changed back to normal when the mail check is successful the next
time. However, I'm not a friend of many colours on one screen, but a
pop-up is even more annoying, and I have no other idea how to make it
easy to determine which account failed.
