Replying to messages
Dear All, I have an ongoing problem which affects all accounts. If I reply to a message where my e-mail was only in the CC not the TO field the reply is created with the FROM address set to be the e-mail that was in the TO field of the original message. Any suggestions as to what causes this and how to prevent it. Dual address books
Hello one and all, Since I have two different address books for the two accounts, why does the CREATE A NEW MESSAGE down-arrow show FAVORITES from BOTH address books? I don't need to see the FAVORITES from the other address book when I'm in my account and she doesn't need to see my FAVORITES when she's in her account. This little annoyance has plagued me for a number of years now. I had hoped it would go away with this new upgrade but, alas, it hasn't. Also, since upgrading to v3.65 I noticed that if there's a message saved in the outbox as a finished message (not a draft) and I click on the RECEIVE NEW MAIL down-arrow and then select GET NEW MAIL FOR ALL, new mail is fetched and then the message gets sent. If the message is saved as a draft, it doesn't get sent. Best way to mark an email in a flexible way for filtering in VF's
Hello tbudl, Maybe some of the more experienced users can help me find the best way to do this: I have a folder called projects. In that folder I have numerous virtual folders for the different projects and clients. Virtual, because sometimes a mail belongs to project A and client B at the same time. I have the VF filtering by sender and recipient, i.e. one folder might have the setting sender-domain contains client B or another folder has subject contains projectA As you can imagine my clients don't have that discipline to write the project's name in every email, or a person not working in client B-company writes an email that thematically belongs to client B. What do you think is the best way to mark an email to belong to project A or client B so that the mail is found by the VF? - Assign color groups: wow, difficult when the number of project reaches more than 10 or so - a special keyword in the memo-field: not very comfortable: I have to hit Shift-Ctrl-I for Autoview-Memo, type in the key, press the save-button and close the autoview-memo-window Any other suggestions? TB, Nod32 and email tags
Anyone out there that is using TB with Nod32 as AV? I just noticed that while most of my emails are obviously scanned by NOD and do show their proper tag at the bottom, some other emails seem to be either ignored or do not have the tag (confirming the scan). One email was received yesterday and included about a dozen jpg.files. I checked the body of the email for the scan info and when I did not see it, looked at the source code - again without success. I then send the same email to me at a different address and opened it with Opera. Here I could see now the scan info, however I assume this relates to the redirected email not the original. I checked on the NOD forum and one suggestion I received was that the email as HTML might contain coding errors thus causing the tag not to appear? Anyone here with some experience or explanation? Btw, is there a security issue of reading emails in HTML when using TB. I know some users are plaintext purists but I am just wondering about the security issue in this respect?
