Re: Best way to mark an email in a flexible way for filtering in VF's
Hello Martin, I would wish the memo auto view would be a dockable window, just like the attachment window or a header field (the way it's displayed while composing the email), just some kind of a small area that is always available if I wish to see it, instead of a separate window You can set up a View Mode that displays the memo field as a column in the message list. I do this for example for my faxes (which are forwarded to me by email as an attachment). The subject is always the same and I use the memo to describe what each fax is. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: The Bat! keeps trying to dowload deleted messages.
Hello Mica, Have you tried with TB's Dispatcher? That would be easiest and cleanest way. Fully agree. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Urech (El Escorial - Spain) Using The Bat! v3.65.04 Current version is 3.65.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: Diverent S/MIME certify
Hi, ,- - [ Le mercredi 18 janvier 2006 vers 12:23 Christian Bonkowski écrivait: ] - - | on my job we got new S/Mime certificates. One for signing a mail and one for encrypting. The certificate for signing I can import in the bat and use it. But I can't import the other. Is it possible to work with different certificates? And if so how? | `- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I jump on this question... i've allready asked last year if TheBat! can use S/Mime certificate with no EMail address in... Last year, TheBat! only allowed to sign a message with a certificate if this certificate is made for the same email address than the from address... in belgium we have an electronic ID card with official S/Mime certificate authenticating our *identity* (and not our email address), and thus those certificates does not mention any EMail and thus cannot work with TB! (and work perfectly with Outlook) :( Does this have changed since last year, can we now use an email-less S/Mime certificate to sign a message ? (as it was not working, my ID Reader is installed on another computer with Outlook, thus i cannot test myself here). -- Best regards... _ (_' ,_)téphane Bouvard [antarex AT freenet DOT be] http://www.antarex.be Current version is 3.65.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Multiple issues
Hello tbudl, First off let me explain my situation so I am not personally attacked as I was the first time I posted to this forum. I have several major Diseases, All of which is none of anyone business, I was a computer engineer until my health made it impossible to continue in the capacity I am use to working in (I put in my all, On salary being paid 40 hours a week I worked no less than 55-60 hours per week, sometimes working 21 days in a row without a break. Until the Brain FOG kicked in and made learning new things difficult if not impossible) so please bear with me and keep your personal attacks to your self (write now I am having one of those moments and can't remember what you call the people who run the forum...Oh I remembered, Moderator, they are aware of those attacks, and I will not mention it again unless it happens again). So what I am looking for is some sort of literature or a book they explains everything form Authentication, MD5, RFC 2554, etc). I am also looking for a tutorial on how to set up Encryption. I use to use the MIT freeware PGP 8.0 But I am having trouble finding it and the bat doesn't support PGP 9.0, not that I want to buy another piece of software. I need to figure out the difference between OPENpgp and the regular PGP and how to make it work with the BAT. So any pointers to literature, books, tutorials, Links to web sites would be appreciated. It is unfortunate that I can't remember my programing skill, Java, C++, Pearl, UNIX scripting, etc. This is frustrating to say the least as I was pretty good at what I did but the Brain FOG and short term memory loss is really a bitch. I also downloaded the free trial of S-mail which changes your TO and From header making your e-mail anonymous, I figure this with anonymous web surfing will make for a secure environment, Not that I have anything to hide, but I do what ever I can to stick it to the Government as I do not agree with their domestic spying program of American citizens. Plus with my Evidence eliminator which overwrites my disk up to 15 times, Many more times than DOD recommends and finds Microsofts, hidden spying built into the OS, I figure that this is pretty safe, Bush is trying to get this program ban from being used in the USA. It will probably be only a matter of time before PGP and secure e-mail Like the Bat and S-mail makes this list. Too bad we are entering a period in American government that harkens back to That CIA Cross dresser that had files on many innocent American citizens Including JOHN LENIN. Thanks for any help in recommending any books etc. -- Best regards, Robert mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! 3.64.01 Christmas Edition under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 on a Pentium 4 3.0ghz - HT with .99G mem.
