Hello all. I have a problem. I'm using ver 3.0.1.33 on Win Xp home SP2 As can see in the attached files the text in the incoming message is shrieked and is not as the sender sent it. Re: Using a domain when sending the EHLO command
Hello Sean, SR Is there anyway to force TB! to use a domain along with the computer SR name, ie my compyer name is BSOD but my email server also wants a SR qualified domain, ie BSOD.tcob1.net Only way I can think of is by naming your computer bsod.tcob1.net SR Cannot use dots in a pc name :( Well, I didn't know that. But I've been thinking that it's a rather odd restriction for a mail server. Off hand I cannot think of any mail client that uses an FQDN in the EHLO message. Should be something you can configure. Cannot it is a remote server have requested it is changed :) Is your connection ADSL with a router? If so, you may be able to configure your router similarly to mine. My router (a SpeedStream 5660) allows me to enter a Domain Name and I have 'mydomain.com'. My PC is called 'maria' and when TB (or other client) connects to the mail server the EHLO (or HELO) command, which identifies the host connecting, shows as maria.maydomain.com HTH. -- Best regards, Miguel A. IAW For me it has been this way for quite a while. It does not happen in IAW Win98 or Me, as it is the same as what happens in Windows Explorer IAW when you set sorting on a particular column. IAW Do you get this happening in Windows Explorer when you set a column on IAW which you want to sort? No, I don't see that feature in any programs I use on Win2K, including Explorer. User Dictionary/Correction Dictionary Language
G'day TBUDL Members, I just upgraded to version 3.71.03 (thanks to Mary Bull for noting its release - no thanks to RitLabs who rarely seem to bother to advise about upgraded versions despite being on their mailing list). I notice that my User and Correction dictionaries have reverted to showing as American English despite me selecting British English as my language selection. I seem to remember that there was a trick to fix this, I think that a language code number had to be changed (I think it was the LID number in first line in the actual dictionary files?). Can anyone help out with what the fix is as I forgot to save it in my useful tips folder :-( ?. -- Bob Mo®®is Thursday, 23 February 2006 Using The Bat!
