MD I am trying to figure out how to disable the shading for the sorted
MD column in the folder and pane views.

If I knew what sorted columns were I could test it. I must be being
unbelievably thick but I don't have any sorted columns - anywhere :-(

versions than Betas or even Release Candidates. If you want to be notified
about new Betas, you should join TBETA.

BM I notice that my User and Correction dictionaries have reverted to
BM showing as American English despite me selecting British English
BM as my language selection. I seem to remember that there was a trick
BM to fix this, I think that a language code number had to be changed (I
BM think it was the LID number in first line in the actual dictionary
BM files?). Can anyone help out with what the fix is as I forgot to save
BM it in my useful tips folder :-( ?.

I don't know anything about the above mentioned solution. Others will be able
to help you better than I can.

I also do not know if your problem has anything to do with the following set
that was announced for 3.71.01:
http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files/the_bat/beta/intpack.msi

I suppose you don't need it since you're using the professional version and
language files used to be included in that.

You could try to add the macro %Language=British English to your account
(or other) QTs.

RitLabs sure seem to think that it is a release - at least according
to their web page:

http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/thebat/news_detail.php?ID=1324

 RITLabs releases The Bat! v3.71
 02/18/2006

In the pursuit of a perfect piece of software we bring you yet
another version of The Bat!. The list of bug-fixes is long, but pay
attention to the new features we added too.

In view of the release date some 5 days ago and most of the regulars
here apparently not knowing that it existed sort of confirms my
thoughts about RITLABs failure to advise users of the update.

I have however discovered the solution to my original query. After
resurrecting an prior version of The Bat! (on my old computer) and
looking at the settings there I find that if I open my UserDic.TLX and
change the LID (first line of file) from 24941 to 25202 it then
correctly shows the language as British English rather than US English
- in line with the language that I have set under Spell Checker
language. I can't remember who originally provided this fix but he/she
certainly has my thanks as it was driving me crazy seeing my User
dictionary described as US English when it most certainly wasn't. ;-)

Printing html

2006-02-23 Thread Jon Polish
I thought this was resolved earlier, but the problem seems to be back.
The font becomes extremely large when printing a html message. A
single page became seven pages upon printing.

This problem occurred before in this beta cycle and was accompanied by
poor displays of html messages.
