Default language for spell checking not setin replies?!

2006-03-15 Thread Cory
Hi 'Batters,

Some time ago I upgraded from v2.12 to v3.65.03. Fairly satisfied but
for one nagging thing: I can't seem to tell the editor (I always use
text-only MicroEd) to remember what default language I want it to use
for spell checking in replies. Although sometimes (!) the status bar
display English, no language is ticked when I click on English (or
on the tiny space to the right of the SpellCheck icon when no langage
is displayed there).
There no similar issue in the BugTrack, so I assume it's something
local with me... :-\
Anyone ideas? Thanks!

Most of my new message and reply templates have the language for the
spell checker set with %Language= macro. Works fine for me. Especially
with AB templates it's very convenient to set the language right. And
as my account templates set the language to Dutch you could say that
that's the default language for my spell checker.

C Although sometimes (!) the status bar display English, no
C language is ticked when I click on English (or on the tiny space

C there).

Due to my setup I can't give any sensible comments to that.

The easiest is way is to create entries for all of his addresses and
in order to keep a clear view on things, you could place of his
addresses in one group, just for maintenance purposes.

It works fine here with v3.71.03, but I seem to recall that problem in
some 'old' version. It looks like you are using v3.65.03, why don't you
upgrade to v3.71.03 (the latest release)?

IMAP Server settings

2006-03-15 Thread Paul Meathrel
Hi all,

I have a quick question regarding server settings for IMAP. I have recently
moved from Outlook 2003 to TB against an IMAP account on Exchange server. When
I am away from the office I access the server remotely without having to be
connected to the corporate network, so far so good. MY SMTP server and Mail
server settings for the account contain the external IP address of the server
and this all works swimmingly. However when I am in the office and connected to
the LAN I would like to use the local name of the server to connect to. I've
tried simply changing the server name in the settings however this doesn't
appear to work. Does anyone do this currently or have any suggestions as to
how I might achieve this?
