Peter, for me, my BT and my beta download accounts' user name and
password are the same.

You can change by logging in at BT on the Main page and then clicking
on the My Account button.

Can someone let me know where can I do this?

1) Go here:

https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/main_page.php

2) Log in.

3) Click on My Account.

4) You will then see an Edit page.

The same user name and password works on the Beta download page,
AFAIK.

Re[2]: Filtering on [] in subject string

2007-02-07 Thread rich gregory
rg I have a spam filter meant to trigger if a subject line contains
rg [SPAM]. ... the filter is ignoring the brackets ... as any message
rg with SPAM anywhere in the subject line is being sent to the spam
rg folder.
rg Must I do something special to alert the filtering tools NOT to
rg ignore the brackets?

IAW Try a \ before each [ or ] to make the [ or ] seen literally.

Old string = [SPAM]
New string = \[SPAM\]

With the old string the filter ignored the []s so ANY message with SPAM
in the subject (no matter with or without the []s) was placed in the
junk folder.

With the new string the the filter does nothing. Any message with SPAM
or [SPAM] ends up in the inbox like any other unfiltered message.

Thx
RG

Trouble with SHortcuts

2007-02-07 Thread MikeD (2)
Hello TBUDL,

I was looking to assign a shortcut for 'Options', 'Message Format',
'Plain Text' (something like Ctrl-shft-T, for example). But when I
go into 'View', 'Toolbar', 'Customize' on a message window, I can
only go as far is Message Format. The selections that appear in the
Message Format menu are not present in the shortcut display.

Does anyone know if there is there a way to get to that option and
assign a quick key or am I just OOL?

Best regards,
 MikeD mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

IAW Going back to your original message I notice that you use the word
IAW contains. When you use a regexp in your filter, you have to use
IAW matches.

In the sorting office screen where you set up the filters I have

String   = \[SPAM\]
Location = Subject
Presence = Yes

I do not see anything that says either contains or matches

Thx

I made a new account at the betatesting site.

Now how can I get in touch with someone to drop my previous registration. I
tried at TheBat site, but had a run around without finding where can I
contact them to drop my old registration.

Do you have any suggestion?

Thank you.

Thanks for the help.

Long-long ago I was stupid enough to have a different ID and password for
the RITLAB Issue tracker and for Beta-download. I guess I signed up at
different times.

Now if log on to the page you suggested, I have no problem to log-in, but
if I want to put in my real name, it doesn't let me do it, someone with
the same name already exist(or something similar)

I logged in to download the new beta version - no problem - but had to use
a different ID and password. I would like to have just one ID and PW to
remember.

I see.

Then Roelof's advice is probably the best. Write directly to RitLabs
and ask for help there. When I wasn't able to create an account at
all, someone there--can't remember, perhaps it was Maxim or
Marek--created it for me.

I'm forever grateful. I feel certain you can get help that way, too.
