Window split
Dear All, is it possible for TB to remember the widths of the columns when in horizontal split mode? At present each time I start TB they are all the same width. Thanks -- PJ Using TB! v4.0.18 on Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 4.0.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
message View Layout
Dear All, I have been trying different layouts with TB and was wondering if it is possible to get a multiline view of the message list when the list column is narrow - I am trying to use the horizontal split mode on a widescreen monitor and I saw this feature on Outlook and thought it would be really helpful. Also, is it possible to have the list show the sender if I received the e-mail and the recipient if I sent the e-mail? I don't need to see my name as sender or recipient, but file both sent and received mail by customer. Toolbars
Dear All, Sorry for so many messages, I am reviewing how I use TB and trying different options. I now find myself in the situation where all my toolbars will only snap into the main window if they are above the message list. This includes the menu toolbar. I am unable to put any toolbars above the folder tree or preview pane. How can I reset the toolbar positions? Black Folders
Dear Fellow-Listers, Last night, I was tired and decided to download 4.0.18 (professional). Instead of my regular little folder icons, I suddenly find myself with an ugly black box for each folder, and unable to re-install a previous version over this current version. Re[2]: filtering on multiple emails addressbook entires
Hello Roger, first of all thanks for your answer. Sorry for my wrong description of what I called address book, I meant indeed address groups and that implies that I have to create for each email address one address book entry and that is something exactly what I would like to avoid. It will create redundant information on other information as well like telephone numbers etc, which are then hard to maintain if you have to check it on all possible entries. I haven't found a way to create subgroups which would be nice as my address book contains already groups like 'office' 'family' friends' etc. I would prefer if I can keep that grouping as well. The address book entry does allow multiple email addresses so I thought that there might be a possibility to make use of that feature. Backup problem
I'm having a problem with and old scheduled backup. As soon as TheBat! was able to schedule autobackup I set up a backup to be run at every three days for all my accounts. The destination folder was d:\mail\ that also was the root folder for TheBat! mail After I changed my pc I reinstalled TheBat! but, as I have e huge, single disk I put as root folder C:\Mail instead of D:\Mail moving there all my mail folders from the old pc. Then I just recreated every account pointing it to the correct folder (e.g. Account 1 C:\Mail\account1, and so on). Now I'm having this problem: every time the scheduled backup tries to write the tbk file in D:\mail, even if I changed all the scheduled works. I guess somewhere the old path is still written but I cannot find it. Can anyone help me?
