Re: mark as read
If you are using POP, you won't even see the spam folder unless you append "/spam" to the login username. If you are using IMAP, you need to remove the spam folder from what it accesses. Every three minutes to check for mail is excessive, but if it's IMAP, you get the mails as soon as they arrive anyway irrespective of how often you check. Still don't know, why Antispamsniper does not its job here, although I marked many dozens of spam mails with identical adresses as spam. I have to move all spam to the junk folder by hand. Try using Mail Dispatcher so that you only get the headers and can decide which ones to actually retrieve. Just append "/spam" to your username to access the junk / spam folder instead of the INBOX. Otherwise, you need to play with the sorting office filters Adrian Current version is 9.1.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hello Gunivortus, On Thursday, March 24, 2022 you wrote: GG> Hello, GG> How can I get it that all mails in the Junk folder are by default GG> marked as read? Are you familiar with "Sorting Office/Filters"? You can create a filter for the Junk folder so that every incoming Junk message is marked as "read" as they come in. I'm sorry I don't have more time right now to explain how to do that but I'm sure another Battie will jump in and do it for me. -- Regards, Jack Central Alabama USA The Bat!
