Hello All, I just tried to use the Anti Virus feature of 1.60, with my Kaspersky AV, and got the error message: Cannot initialize the AVP COM plug in, please visit http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/kaspersky.html; I went to the url, but just get redirected to kaspersky.com. Deleting stored attachments
I am having a problem removing attachments, once I have deleted the message they arrived with. Under FilesDirectories I have a non default folder specified for attachments, I also have Delete attached files when message is deleted from trash checked. Justifying text
Hello Bat, Is there a way to justify the text of seperate paragraphs, other than highlighting each paragraph seperately and doing an alt+j? If I type Sentence one Sentence two Sentence three Highlighting all three paragraphs and then doing an alt+j gives me : Sentence one.Sentence two.Sentence three On long messages highlighting each one seperately takes an age. Also the Help file says that TB contains American English and British English dictionaries, but when I go to Spell Checker - Language, all that I have listed is American English, how do I activate Britsh English? Filters
Hello Bat, Is there some way of inadvertently making filters inactive, I ask because I set a simple filter on an account by right clicking on an incoming message, using specials and create filter. I then did it on sender, and to move it to another folder. sent mail not being moved to sent
I have a problem, which appeared to me few days ago. After I send some message it is *not* being moved from outbox to sent folder. This means that the same mail can be send few times. Before I notied that I got some error about broked mail base or smth like that. Any suggestions how can I fix that? Hello The Bat! developers Bat List, I'm using The Bat! Version 1.48f Serial Number 4E83F57A under Windows NT 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 1 and would like to report a bug The bug description: I have cc'd this to the list, as it seems to me to be a security risk as well as a bug. I have an account which I just use for a mailing list, as the list sets the reply to to the sender and the list address, I have set the reply to in the accounts properties to the list address. Today in error I started creating an e-mail in the mailing list account, that should have gone from my general account, as it happened this was a technical support query and contained a product licence key. I noticed before sending I had chosen the wrong "active account", and changed from my mailing list account to my general account. The technical support people hit reply to reply to my message, and the "reply to" had not changed when I selected the correct "active account", and so their reply went to a mailing list. In this instance this seems to be quite a major security flaw, as I often start in the wrong account, and then use options/active account to change it, the fact that the reply to doesn't change could be a security risk, or for people using The Bat for say work/private messages, potentially very embarrassing. Welcome TBUDL, I tried to export about 3000 mails to unix mailbox. I need it to make a statistics of a discussion list I own. But my Linux is wiser than me :) and thinks that this mailbox is one huge mail (about 9 MB). Here`s my problem...
Welcome, My problem is: Sometimes (last times more often) whike checking for new mail and recieving it, the bat shows some error messages, about mail saved in the_bat\mail\account\inbox\folder\bad.tmp (where is some number in hexadecimal format). When I repair the messgaes with mbrepair.exe, and try to import it as unix mailboxes, whole repaired message base is improted as one, single letter... well, it stops on about 200 kB, with an error message something about memory... (I have 64 MB RAM)... anyone can help??? Welcome, My problem is: Sometimes (last times more often) whike checking for new mail and recieving it, the bat shows some error messages, about mail saved in the_bat\mail\account\inbox\folder\bad.tmp (where is some number in hexadecimal format). once again problem with disappering mails...

pgp suggestion
Welcome, I have a suggestion to pgp decode. When I recieve encoded mail, I decode it with my pgp private key. I`d like choose between some decode option, I mean for example, decode and create new mail that is decoded, decode to the same mail, or decode to temporary mail. About the last one, I mean that when decode to temporary mail, i read the letter, and after it`s read i choose quit and that decoded letter is deleted. serious filtering problem
Welcome, Today I checked my mail, and while it should filter it, two of filters didn`t work, I got smth like Failed to copy message from Inbox to I made temp filter that filters mail that wasn`t filtered to another folder, and it worked. Welcome, about wincih.. i killed wincih that was in memory with kill_cih.exe ant then tried to check it with nocih.exe. It says that my memory is infected with wincih... so the file nocih.exe must be infected... all right.. anyone knows some good anti-wincih program? I have cleanich.exe , kill_cih.exe and nocih.exe .
