The information about new features in v2 was originally written by me, and as far as I remember there was no enough time for improvement by Mark before the release date. Feel free to send me all the critics about this part. In fact, guys in Ritlabs speak Russian (not Moldovan). My sort-of English is Bulgarian, though this fact doesn't make help files more readable... Anyway, you can expect better English in the future, as help is under improvement process for some time past. -- All Best, Constantinmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v2.02 CE on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Hidden DOS secret: add BUGS=OFF to your CONFIG.SYS Current version is 2.02.3 CE | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hello Anne, Anne No idea Miguel... I've not had any messages from it yet!!! ;-) That's right, today is pretty quiet. It's Thanksgiving holiday in the North America, and people are having the rest... Also, keep in mind that the list is pretty new (it exists for 2 days). So far, we have had 25 messages sent to the list in total. By the way, feel free to send one yourself. :-) -- All Best, Constantinmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v2.00.6 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 It was the best of lines, it was the worst of lines... Hello Leif, Leif I'd love to, but as an American, I don't know how to speak Canadian! Well, that's really weird... I've always thought that American speak Canadian... By the way, so far there are subscribed guys from UK, Germany and even Argentina who seem to speak Canadian very well... :-) -- All Best, Constantinmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v2.00.6 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Old programmers never die; they just give up their resources. Re[2]: Canadian The Bat! discussion list
Hello Allen, Allen What is the particular focus of this list? You said it's available to Allen people from all over . . . as are the other lists -- and the other lists Allen [this one included] are available to Canadians. Most of the Canadian users already know that there is a new department in Toronto which helps for the support and distribution of The Bat! in Canada. The focus is to get this local community together and to share some ideas and news connected to Canadian. Allen I'm not necessarily criticizing this new list, I am simply curious as to Allen why I might want to add yet another TB list to my daily reading . . . It's a though question because the list exists just for a few hours. For now, you can just take it as an enthusiastic idea to join people. And to be honest, I still don't have a clue what exactly that is going to be. What is sure now, is that I would like it to be a little bit more than a discussion about The Bat! features, because TBUDL is the best one for that. It would be great for people who uses The Bat! here to get know each other and see what's going on in the neighborhood - may be a colleague is secretly using The Bat! too :-) And for other folks to check if Canadian are doing well :-) -- All Best, Constantinmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v2.00.6 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Compromise makes a good umbrella but a poor roof; it is a temporary expedient. - James Russel Lowell, American editor (1819-1891) Current version is 2.00.6 | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: Received time should be rectified
Hi Joe, Monday, July 21, 2003, 3:16:40 AM, you wrote: Joe Recently I found a problem when using TB. We need to handle Joe emails according to the time frame. Say, I will need to reply to Joe the emails arrive at our mail server from 9am to 3pm, my workmate Joe needs to reply from 3pm to 10pm. Since we are using the same mail Joe server, if we can divide the emails by the time when they arrive Joe at our mail server, that will be perfect. Have you ever considered Client/Server feature of TB? The Bat! can act as a standalone e-mail client with your TCP/IP connection; as a non-TCP/IP client to a server on your LAN; and as a server to clients on the network. This feature is very useful when you work with a distributed messages database - server downloads your messages at one place in your network and all of you guys will work in client to server mode and will be able to control mail much better than using a POP server. -- All Best, Constantinmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] The Bat! v1.63 Beta/11 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Current version is 1.62r | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
