ASK Spammers are targetting large freemail services (gmx, web.de, yahoo,

Yeah, I assumed that. But the account isn´t a freemail service, it´s a
paid service, and a big one for Argentina (50.000 users at 3 to 10
accounts each). Although, half of the spam is spanish, so I think
commercial spam filters would have a hard time figuring it out, as
common spanish has at least four times the amount of words as the full
non-technical english; and every dialect has words unique to them.

Nope, use the long term solution: feed K9 EVERYTHING arriving in
spanish, and after 3000/3500 msgs, it´s getting the hang of it.

MM What form of addressing your spammers use? Something like

Just dduca73 @ yahoo and dduca @ myprovider.com.ar (arnet). More on

MM that be the possible cause?

That´s the funny thing. I DONT´T get spam to the mail I write with
smoke in the sky for everyone to see! And instead, I get a lot from an
account that I´ve never accesed since creation, a month ago. Being
honest, they all start with dduca, and they´re all listed in my PGP
key, but I don´t believe they go harvest there.

MM Another reason for this suspicion of mine, is this: if I write something
MM about illegal software, I start to receive offerings related to cheap
MM software; if I write something about drugs, I get heaps of related
MM offerings

FYI, I´m subscribed to around 30 lists, some for ex-jobs I like to get
current (I´m working in a hotel since 2002 and the Argentine crisis)
just in case. Pharmaceutical (I have a degree in chemistry), telecoms
(worked there too), some personals including RPGs, Magic the gathering
(yeah, I know), school, college and university ex-student groups, RC
modeling, and some computer-related. I don´t browse for porn, since
(a), I´m married quite recently, and (b), let´s be honest, it´s easier
and cheaper to rent. So... I don´t get a pattern. Oh, and it´s
beginning to get heavier on nig-419. No messages about toys, nor
models, nor drugs (except the viagra-enlargement), nor games.

I think about the same as you, bt I can´t confirm that suspicion with
facts... (-8

MM if I write about sex, I get an avalanche of these... enlargement offerings.
MM Honestly, I do not need any of these three, *especially* not *some* of them.

And there´s no way to tell them that 95% of the girls like it as we
like Coke, regular, please... (-8

PD: All that typing, and my mate got cold ;-)
