Re[2]: filtering on multiple emails addressbook entires
Hello Roger, first of all thanks for your answer. Sorry for my wrong description of what I called address book, I meant indeed address groups and that implies that I have to create for each email address one address book entry and that is something exactly what I would like to avoid. It will create redundant information on other information as well like telephone numbers etc, which are then hard to maintain if you have to check it on all possible entries. I haven't found a way to create subgroups which would be nice as my address book contains already groups like 'office' 'family' friends' etc. I would prefer if I can keep that grouping as well. The address book entry does allow multiple email addresses so I thought that there might be a possibility to make use of that feature. The RP occurrence of any one of the addreses will trigger the filter. Current version is 4.0.18 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hi Peter, thanks a lot for the information. That was the missing link I apparently kept ignoring. Folder column settings
Dear Bat Users, where can I set permanently the column settings of the Ticker folder ? i.e. I set the columns and they stayed as they are, the settings survived restarts after restarts, no problem at all, until now. I used go to folder and when I revisted the ticker news folder they were reseted. What happened ? Why were they changed back to a apperant default setting and where can I set the default setting for the Ticker news folder ? Cheers Thanks a lot, Hartwig PS: thanks a lot as well for answering my previous questions about the sound when receiving emails, but I wasn't sure if it would be against the netiquette to just say 'thanks a lot, problem solved' as it creates traffic with no real information. system sound when checking mails
Dear Bat User, being new to the Bat, please forgive me for the perhaps obvious newbie question. How can I deactivate the system sound when the Bat checks for mail. I did go through the options in the options menus as well as through the filter rules and folder options but can't find how to disable this 'dong'. Thanks a lot, Hartwig Current version is 1.62 | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
