Not that I'm aware of.

YT If multiple addresses are present, which one ends up on the 'To:'
YT line,

The one on the top.

YT or is there an easy way for me to select the one I want at the
YT time of message creation?

No, though I believe it's on the wish list.

No. Or Yes: one per line.

YT If multiple addresses are present, which one ends up on the 'To:'
YT line,

Per default the first e-mail-address (first line) will taken over to
'To:'.

YT or is there an easy way for me to select the one I want at the
YT time of message creation?

Yes. In current Beta-series the feature of selecting the address is
implemented and since several versions working.
In Address book right click the entry you're about to write a mail to
and choose 'New' / 'Message to' (only present if multiple addresses
are entered).

If you already have the editor opened you can use the address book
icon on the right side of 'To:', 'CC:' and 'BCC:' and right click the
entry you want to add and choose 'Add address' (only present if
multiple addresses are entered).

Yuki,

Is there a special syntax for adding multiple e-mail addresses to the
e-mail addresses box on the properties page?

Not really but it can be done several ways and you have to figure which way
you want to do it. As someone has said you can put them all into on address
book entry (one per line) and the first one goes into the To field. What you
can also do is create a new Group and enter each email contact as a new
contact in that group. If you do this you can select the group and email to
it, which will put everyone in the TO field, or you can open the group and
add each one individually into the email and thus decide which address to
send to. I can then email them all, or just one of them. You can also put
one in the TO field and the others in the BCC, or CC, etc. I think The Bat
even allows you to email to the group and have it make an email personal
to each email address in the group. Look into the Group address system, as
I think you'll find it quite powerful - though I've yet to use it. I was
moving a 350+ user list to The Bat and first I put commas between them, then
decided to put them on each line and then I read about this group thing and
basically decided to leave it until I'd read up about it all, as messing
about with 350+ email addresses had got me beat at the time :)
