OK. I see this. In the meantime, F4 is working again. I don't know
whether it is due to something I have done or the effect of gamma

F4 has stopped working

The subject says it all. Is there something that I may have done
unintentionally that caused this. I closed TheBat and reopened it,
with no change.

Using TheBat! 4.0.28.3

Windows Vista 6.0
Build 6002 Service Pack 2

Maybe  you have a Logitech keyboard and accidently disabled the F-Keys
?

Assuming it is only in TB! that F4 does not work as expected, you
could try right-clicking an empty area in the toolbar in the main TB!
window (or in a message editor window, depending which F4 shortcut has
stopped working) and selecting Customise... and then the shortcuts
tab and then see if the shortcut is still set to F4. You double-click
an item to edit its shortcut.

Someone else suggested a problem with a Logitech keyboard. I do use a
Logitech mouse, but a wired keyboard.
