Wow! Thanks M. I will certainly follow up on this as the original email got to
me with no apparent problem. It was only when I tried to forward it that I ran
into problems.

www.charter.con diverts to www.spectrum.com and you get the 404 error
because they have no page with the address
www.spectrum.com/postmaster. If you are contacting them, I'd suggest
pointing it out to give them the opportunity to fix the redirect

By complete fluke, I found

Thanks for the reply Brian.

I have very few complaints with TB! and have always received any help I needed
from The Bat Users Discussion List . I am not looking
to "bad mouth" TB! and have no desire to force them through humiliation to make
changes to TB! It's already a very powerful email client and as such has a
slightly steeper learning curve than other clients.

The next time you have any problems with TB! I would suggest shooting off an
email to the above address instead of tech support.

Hello Jack,

The Charter (Spectrum) mail server. As it says, because the message
was identified as SPAM. I think you should contact your ISP to find
out why.

Yes, I also use the BAT and/but have found that in recent versions, it has been

They have a diabolical logging in system nowadays.

So much so that I ahve even thought about scrapping the BAT. Technical needs to

If you want you could always post your case on our web site, and that would

Message has not been sent

2018-01-26 Thread Jack S. LaRosa
Hello TBUDL'ers,

I was trying to forward an email and it kept getting denied, ostensibly by
Charter (my ISP). But when I click on the part of the denial that says:

Please visit http://www.charter.com/postmaster, I get a 404 error from Charter
(now Spectrum).

Below is the entire TB log message containing the above link.

!1/26/2018, 12:14:52: SEND - Message has not been sent. Server reply - 5.2.0
36Et1x00H3c7r7o016Etpr Message identified as SPAM - Please visit
http://www.charter.com/postmaster E5110
 1/26/2018, 12:14:52: FETCH - 268 messages in the mailbox, 0 new
 1/26/2018, 12:14:52: FETCH - connection finished - 0 messages received
 1/26/2018, 12:14:52: SEND - connection finished - 0 message(s) sent
1/26/2018, 12:14:52: SEND - Some messages were not sent - check the log for
details

So, who is preventing the transmission of this forward? It's worth noting that I
can send the forward using my Gmail account from within TB!.
