I move to the next unread message using crtl-]. Depending on my

When using Ctrl-] to move to the next new message in a different
folder, it always goes to the second new message instead of the first
message. Is this a bug?

The behavior I observe is that when using Ctrl-], when it changes
folders, it goes to the first new message after the most recently
focused message in that folder.

The ticker is your friend here. The virtual folder behind the ticker
contains all new messages regardless of account and you can read
them all very simply right there. That's what I do.

I keep the ticker unzoomed, at the smallest possible size and half
off the screen. That way it takes up next to no real estate
(valuable on a laptop) and also serves as a new mail indicator.

It would involve some tabbing, maybe alt-tab if you use folder view.
You can use TB entirely from the keyboard, the design did have
screenreaders in mind.

I move to the next unread message using crtl-]. Depending on my

there is no option to move across accounts with this keystroke, if
that is what you are looking for.

Major bummer. It seems like this would be an easy option for the
programmers to add. How can I use the keyboard to move to the next
account?

I would think it is in the wish list, but it wouldn't urt if you added
it again.

That depends were you are. If you are reading mails in folder view,
you close that window by hitting esc.

In the main TB window, you move around the three panes by hitting tab.
I have full-height account tree, message list, and preview pane. If
you set-up is different, the principle should still hold.

Hit tab until you are in the account tree pane. The folder you were
previously working in will be highlighted. Use the arrow keys to
navigate up or down. I don't know about a jump to next account
keyboard shortcut.
