Options - Network Administration - Privileges - Disabled actions
 - Attach files to outgoing messages

It's the same in V3. But I'd never have thought to look there. And for
me they're all greyed out, because I have the option Administrator
rather than User ticked.

NB, to Dean: This is not in Account Properties, but in the drop-down
menu from Options on the toolbar on the Main TB! window.

  Bingo!

Sent my comment to Andre before reading this. I had been looking very
hard--but I had blinders on and had been scouring Account/Properties.

What a great group TBUDL is!

Dean, I hope all will be well with your sister-in-law--at least, I do
want to say I am sorry about her illness--and I hope you will get some
rest.

The only thing I could find is Account / Properties /
FilesDirectories / Attachments. There are some settings; over here
they are:

MIME Base64
In message body
[X] Delete when...
[ ] Bind only when...

If yours are different, try those settings and see whether it helps.
