Unfortunately there is at least one bug with that, as it had downloaded a big mail some weeks ago, after I first got the note - during a later message retrieval session. Dunno about the way Outlook handles it. Would you like to explain and perhaps even file a feature wish for it? -- :dAniel_hAhler: shinE! Would you like to explain and d perhaps even file a feature wish for it? (Outlook Express by the way, Outlook should be about the same) When you state there that all mails must be deleted after download and use a filter to leave a message of an size xx kb on the server it will do that. You can sent the sender a mail without having to look up the sender address in the original mail. You probably could let it send a message to your self stating that you received a big file. This way the file is still there to check and the sender knows it's not appreciated. With TB! sending a message to the sender is more difficult (and could go wrong if your regex is not what it use to be (like mine). But the worse part is that TB! will delete the message so you can not check on the big message. When you want to do that you have to configure your account the other way around so it will leave every thing on the server and your filter will state that it must delete (the next time) all messages below xx kb. I've tried to file a wish but after trying 2x I still do not have my password from http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html How long will that normally take? -- Cheers, Edgar Communicating with TB! v2.11.02, Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1 To have the reputation of possessing the most perfect social tact, talk to every woman as if you loved her, and to every man as if he bored you. - Oscar Wilde To request my public key select this url: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] pgp2QcOwFUvCX.pgp Description: PGP signature Current version is 2.11.02 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

So yiu have time to download the large mails. -- Kind Regards :Feli: The Bat! 2.12 Beta/7 on Windows 2000 5.0 2195 Service Pack 4 Current version is 2.11.02 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

That is possible, but (and I do like TB! very much) I like the way OE handles that better. Also the part about sending a message back to the sender about big mails (or any mail that is not downloaded) is Handled better in OE. I find this lacking in TB! where you have to use some regex rules to determin the sender and then create the mail. (and not able to the selective download filter for that.) -- Cheers, Edgar Communicating with TB! v2.11.02, Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1 An authority is a person who can tell you more about something than you really care to know.
