Re: Multiple e-mail addresses for recipient
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello junk! On Monday, July 30, 2001 at 9:04:00 AM you wrote: Is it possible to send a message to a recipient, whose information has been entered into the Address Book, using an address other than their default without having to type it in manually? In other words, how can I send a message to someone using *their* second or third e-mail address, which I've defined in the Address Book, without actually having to type it in the To: field by hand? I hope this question makes sense to everyone because now I'm totally confused. :P It makes sense. But sadly ... If you want to send a message to a recipient with more than one address you have, for now, make every address its own AB entry. To choose from the multiple addresses entered in one entry is a long-standing wish. - -- Dierk Haasis http://www.Write4U.de PGP keys available: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=SendMyPGPkeys The Bat 1.54 Beta/4 on Windows 95 4.0 1212 C Erwarte von anderen nur, was Du selbst bereit bist zu geben. Hello Viboon, On Sunday, October 15, 2000 at 11:29:32 GMT +0900 (which was 7:29 PM where I live) witnesses say Viboon Chaojirapant typed: Options - Active Account - [choose your account] With this sequence of menu item selection, you can set the email address you want. And as a bonus, the email will be put in the correct "Sent" folder of the account you chose. You can accomplish the same task by right clicking on the account name in the status bar at the bottom of the message editor. Of course, if you just want to stay anonymous or like to use fake email addresses once in a while, Not just fake addresses, some people use forwarding addresses for various purposes. In this situation, separate accounts may not be applicable or appropriate. -- Thanks for writing, Januk Aggarwal See header for e-mail address Using The Bat! 1.47 Beta/7 under Windows 98 4.10 Build A -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org

Ertner wrote and made these points on the subject of "Multiple E-Mail Addresses": VDE is there any way to choose a sender address when creating a new VDE message? Use the View menu in the editor window to expose the From and Reply-To headers and pick from the drop-downs there. These may be empty on first usage, but will added to every time you enter a different address. - -- Cheers, .\\arck [Marck D.
