MDP It is the only thing. v1 and v2 keys are *not* interchangeable. You
MDP may not use a v1 key for v2 or vice versa. You or your friend will
MDP have to grab a v2 to go with that v2 key. Oh yes, and v2 keys no
MDP longer use passwords.

Thank you for your reply.

Is there any chance of still getting a v1.62 registration? The reason
I opted for v1.63 for him is that I'm the one who is going to support
him and I don't want him using a different version than me.

N i just registered (literally haven't gotten my key yet) any way
N will i have to buy a new key will 2.0.0 comes out?

To our latest informations: yes. To the same information it might be
there an discount for registered owners of V.1, so called 'Update
 price'.

IMHO there's also likely to be an amnesty for recent purchasers ..
unless there's a rise in the price for V2, in which case you may have
to pay the difference. Just from what was said before on this topic.

I don't know but I received my registration number within two hours. But I
didn't buy the boxed version and I bought it on internet from a computer
store nearby. I made a few telephone calls and I was up and running within
 two hours.

I registered through ritlabs.com -- the verification of the credit card
transaction arrived within minutes, and the mail from Ritlabs with my
registration key arrived less than three hours later.

t when you receive the registration email with codes the bat recognises

Thanks, but the problem is he never received that email. He has been
waiting since Monday. So if he registers again, CIF Net will prbably
charge the credit card a second time.

The email with the codes is supposed to come within a few minutes,
right?
