Re[2]: Two issue for convert from Eudora
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello Roelof, %FROM=%FROMNAME %OTOADDRHello %OFromFName, JA What happens if you are in the CC field? Wouldn't that macro JA then break? Or technically not break, but put in the wrong JA values? RO Yep. It would place the original first recipient in the From-header. RO Also when you're in the To-header, but not as first addressee, the RO macro won't produce the wanted results. I am not that sharp with macros and personally I do not accept mail that is not explicitly addressed to me. Mail which does not have me and me alone in the to: field gets put into a suspect folder. I am aware of replying to messages within that folder. The above macro at least works for me 99% of the time :) The macro is better than none because otherwise without one it would be tedious to change the from address all the time ;) I am though of course open to a macro which is better at figuring out, bcc and cc if possible :) - -- Best regards, Victor B. I did set it as you suggested, but I would like it to check every five minutes or so for new mail while I am on-line. I had it set for check every five minutes, but that prompts it to check while off-line as well. Thanks to others for the help with the first issue. Re[2]: Two issue for convert from Eudora
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 In Eudora, when I wanted to reply to a message, regardless at which address I received it, there is a drop-down list of accounts from which I select the outgoing address. Is there some way to do this in The Bat! or There are two ways to do this... JA I'll add another ;) JA In the compose window, hit View, and put a tick in the From option. JA You now have a drop down list for the From box, containing all your JA accounts. The above is good when you wish to start composing a brand new message. If you would like your from address to automatically change to the value the message was sent to, try putting the below macro right at the top of your reply template. %FROM=%FROMNAME %OTOADDRHello %OFromFName, Its a beautiful macro :) If someone sends mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and you hit reply your from address will automatically become [EMAIL PROTECTED] so watch out when you reply with it. Have a great day :) - - -- Best regards, Victor B.
