Two separate accounts with mail filtered into a single one. Changes accounts on the fly is a snap with The Bat! You could even make a quick template to make it even easier. I have most of my mail filtered in to specific folders for each mailing list I am on. How do I easily change which account is responding to the mail into the account. That is if I filter mail to a folder called "In - The Bat!" for example and that folder is set up with my netcom smtp server, how do I easily from that folder change the account responding to a particular message? -- Best regards, Katsmeow mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! 1.45 Release Candidate under Windows 98 4.10 Build 1998 -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org

Or you may select the account on a per message basis using the Options | Active Account menu option in the editor. I tried to do this. I went to quick templates and tried to set up a template to do this but it isn't working. I am obviously not doing this right. Could someone give me step by step who to set up a template for a reply to be from a particular acount and then tell me how to actually call it up to use it when I am writing a message in a folder where another account is the default? -- Best regards, Katsmeow mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! 1.45 Release Candidate under Windows 98 4.10 Build 1998 -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org

This was very clear and very helpful. Works well. Oops, I spoke too soon. I set up the second account for my office smtp. Fine. But I am home now and that account is collecting my mail. I don't want this second account to collect my mail. I want my "main" account to collect the mail. How do I handle that? Do I just not put in the pop server in the account properties or what? -- Best regards, Katsmeow mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! 1.45 Release Candidate under Windows 98 4.10 Build 1998 -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org
