Some Minor Questions
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello tbudl, If you just read the discussions as they come in you're almost guaranteed to learn something. I have :) How do I create a default view for all my folders? I have over 21 folders and would like for all of them to have the same sorters... I would like all of them to have the option to park, to from, subject, and received. I tried right clicking an individual folder and noticed use the account default settings but I do not know where they are or how to change them all in one shot? Can someone help? Also the autocomplete when composing is cool but I heard you can cycle through them. Is this true? I tried tabbing, pressing down, up, right and space but nothing works... Is it true? First set all folders you want to look the same to use the account default settings, then adjust one of them to look like you want it. As soon as you make any changes to any of the folders with this option selected, all other will change accordingly. -- Regards, Marcus Ohlström Using The Bat! v1.62/Beta7 on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 3 PGP Public Key at http://www.canit.se/~marcus/pgp.asc Current version is 1.61 | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello Marcus, MO First set all folders you want to look the same to use the account MO default settings, then adjust one of them to look like you want it. Thank you Marcus, I think it couldn't have been said better :) Is there a way to introduce a mass change like that? The reason I ask is because I have an archive with over 200 folders and 6,000 messages I would like to re-import back into The Bat! but can you imagine the tediousness? Thank you Marcus, doing it to the 21 folders was easy but what lies ahead is scary :( Have a great day - -- Best regards, Victor B. You can do it with a series of key presses which might simplify the process, and of course you can download your macro utility of choice to do this. However, I don't take any responsibility if you mess things up :-) With the folder list in focus, press; alt-enter, alt-u, enter, down This should set one folder to use the default settings and move the cursor down to the next. Repeat as necessary. Note, this is on my English system, if you have localized TB! then the shortcuts might be different. -- Regards, Marcus Ohlström Using The Bat! v1.62/Beta7 on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 3 PGP Public Key at http://www.canit.se/~marcus/pgp.asc Current version is 1.61 | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hi Victor, What ouy could do is reset it all to factory default. I am guessing this can be done by deleting the appropriate definition file. I just don't know which one that is. Maybe someone else knows which TB! file holds the folder settings? -- Best regards, Gerard -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= The correlation between thinking well and making successful shots is not 100 percent. But the correlation between thinking badly and unsuccessful shots is much higher.
