Template file?

2003-09-08 Thread Peter Kerekes

I transferred BAT to my notebook, but somehow the templates did not
show up.

Are the templates in one or more files, if so which one? I would like to copy
the file over to my BAT directory in the Notebook.

If this doesn't work, is there any way to copy/paste them instead if retyping
them all.

TIA

When I transferred TB onto my laptop, I created a backup on the
desktop machine, and restored it on the laptop. I had to make some
changes to the connection properties on the laptop, because I connect
differently on there, but apart from that it worked perfectly, and all
my templates and filters transferred too.

Account settings are in account.cfg, filters in account.srx, QTs in
account.qtn, and other account templates in account.flx. If you open
the files in Notepad, you can usually work out what is in them. Make
sure you back up the original file on the laptop before transferring
just in case it goes horribly wrong!

The other way to do it is copy the text from your templates into a
blank document, and transfer the document to the laptop, and then
paste the text into your laptop templates. This is how I manage it for
small numbers of templates.
