TheBat! and K9
Hello Group I've given up on the spam add-ons for TB!, neither of them seem to work very well. I've installed K9 and set it up for two of my eight email accounts. I am filtering on Subject contains [Spam] because I couldn't find out how to filter on the 'X-Text-Classification' - is this, or something similar, possible in TB! to avoid altering the subject line? Is anybody using TB! / Hotmail Popper / K9? I haven't tried it yet, I'm hoping it will work because Hotmail Popper used port 110 and K9 uses . OK, I took the plunge and this does seem to work, it's astonishing when you follow the route of an email on just one PC! I must say the signs are good with K9. I am not for sure about hotpopper, as I use freepop for my Hotmail account. It has been so long since I set that one up but I do have it set up to run through K9. Freepop uses port 2000 and this is my transport within The Bat! user - localhost/2000/[EMAIL PROTECTED] and the port is on .
