PM This is certainly a bug and I don't remember a discussion about
PM this. So thanks for bringing it up.

I receive a couple newsletters in HTML format and tend to read them
with my browser since the pics are important to the reading of them.

They always load in the browser. My default browser is also Opera.

For your problems to be a TB! related, this would mean that TB! is
interfering with incoming message content. I doubt this is the case
and think it's more likely the HTML message that may be faulty. I may
be wrong but ...

Is this a common problem with eCard greetings or is it a problem with
HTML messages from multiple sources?

This is common with HTML messages from multiple sources. For example,
I received a home-made ecard where the sender altered the
background, fonts etc. and inserted a family photo-- which did not
open when I clicked on the browser to view. This morning I received an
HTML message from my ISP, with the same result. I do receive the
images; they just does not load and can be seen only by clicking the
icon. As far as I remember, this has always been the case though did
not bother me much since I don't tend to view in HTML anyway.

I am using IE 6.0.

Thanks!

It happens here with HTML mails where the pics are attached for
offline view. I see Opera opening the index file from a temp folder,
so the pics may not be in there.

There is no problem with HTML mails that load their pics from the
internet, provided I'm connected.

I get the impression that some are experiencing problems with these as
well. :( Hmmm.

I suggest sending samples of the problem messages to Ritlabs. MIME
attach them when doing so.

Viewing html ...again

2003-12-12 Thread P.Johnson
Lately I've been receiving Christmas e-cards and would like to view
the html in one piece instead of the text in one tab, the images in
another. I thought that clicking on the browser icon would work but
this does not show images (just the placemarks).

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed and apologize, but I haven't
been successful in my list archive search at all.

Thanks in advance, and happy holidays, everyone.
