I use a different Windows version than Christopher (see my sig), but I also experience IMAP operations freezing TB! I promptly stopped using IMAP in TB! after 3 or 4 freezes, so I can't offer a specific diagnosis of what causes it, but the problem certainly isn't unique to Christopher. When he sent his first mail, it did not seem to appear here on the list. This second attempt was made because it seemed the first had not worked. v. 2 IMAP freezes program
Trying this again, since no one picked it up the first time: Using The Bat! v2.00.6 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Since I changed to v.2, the one account that I have which is IMAP freezes the program most (but not all) of the time when I click on the Inbox. The program stops responding. If it doesn't stop responding when I click on the Inbox, it freezes when I click on one of the message headers that it has downloaded (though I have it set for full synchronization, with the Inbox subscribed, so I should get more than just headers), but then I click on a message and it freezes then too. This happens about 50% of the time, and often, I will have to force the program to quit. If I switch to do something else and come back to it later, occasionally it has corrected itself. Does anyone know what's going on? I don't have this problem with the POP accounts that I have.
