Cool post, Ray!

Very intrigued by the last foto. Any additional info for that one?

FWIW: I found it hard to read the post on the page with dark background, grey

Louise, don't worry. Those of us who have been on the list for years

Charles, thanks again for providing this list. It gives many of us

[Texascavers] test message

2017-03-14 Thread David
I just got an automated message about my post bouncing.

In the new movie, "Kong." in the introduction, they have a fast moving
slideshow of historic events.

There is an aerial photo of a sotano resembling "El Sotano de Barro."
Looked like they used and AMCS postcard. However, it was supposed to
reflect the 1940s, and probably something about The Hollow Earth Theory.

The movie was good.

It had an original plot about an uncharted mysterious island explored by a
group of people who were non-believers in prehistoric animals still being
alive led by someone who was labeled a crackpot who had once been to the
island.

The big surprise is they find a giant gorilla and a unknown culture of
natives worshipping the gorilla.

I would have enjoyed such a movie as a kid back in the day.

The movie features a black actor, who gets killed by the gorilla. Who
would have imagined that ?

There were some caving photos shown in a scientific presentation.

And the terrain featured an island of tropical karstic nature similar to
Thailand coastal areas.

One concept sort of stolen from the Gears of War video game is underground
creatures that come up and attack humans.

I give the movie an A+. Stay for the "sequel teaser" after the final
credits.
