[tw] Re: image: thumb + popup?
Hi Eric, Sorry again, and I hope you are feeling fine. Although I greatly appreciate your taking a serious view of this issue, there was never any 'offense' taken so no apology is really needed. thanks for the detailed clarification. And I'm glad I was mistaken. to make such a test possible now on my drive For the limited purposes of testing and evaluation, it is sometimes useful to *temporarily* make a local copy of an image file that should not, in other circumstances, be copied without specific permission. In general, this is acceptable, as long as the local copy is completely removed after testing is completed, and the file is not replicated, passed along to others, or published online. Now again, I wanted to see if a combination of ImageMapPlugin with either the ThumbThing script or ImageSizePlugin would work, when I found that the edit button disappeared. Did this test on my drive, but it didn't worked. regards.. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. Hi Måns Thank you for pointing me to this most interesting plugin by Eric Shulman. I have also found the HideWhenPlugin by Simon Baird http://mptw.tiddlyspot.com/#HideWhenPlugin. Both of these plugins can let you have a different EditTemplate or ViewTemplate depending on the tags of the tiddler being edited or viewed. I think this method is going to give me the best results by letting me create a new tiddler with default content and tags and then let me see the tiddler in view mode for entering the data. However, I will first have to figure out how to make a new template, which may take some time. Cheers Andrew Mc On May 29, 12:34 am, Måns humam...@gmail.com wrote: Hi Andrew You might have some luck with Eric Shulmans TaggedTemplateTweakhttp://www.tiddlytools.com/#TaggedTemplateTweak. All tiddlers tagged timesheettest, will then be opened with the form - without any form written to the textarea... which I think is great... Don't know if this helps - but it's another way of doing it - and maybe it gives you new possibilities. I've tried to use formtemplates from/in the edittemplate - but it didn't work for me... Both create a new tiddler in edit mode. However, what I want is for the new tiddler to be created from a form, have certain tags, and be shown in view mode. The newTiddlerWithForm macro does this but unfortunately does not have a way of specifying tags during the tiddler creation. The TaskTimerPlugin looks interesting but seems to be most useful for when you are timing activities while you have access to your Wiki. In my case, however, I want to enter the times that I have spent doing other activities which are almost always done away from a computer. So, sadly, TaskTimerPlugin won't solve my particular problem. Hi Eric, You can achieve this with just a slight tweak to http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#ShowPopup by changing onclick=... to onmouseover=... enjoy, -e This brings up the question if popups in general, and onmouseover in particular, are rendered immediately on first display of the menu, as it is with the core slider macro - or if they are only rendered once there is a onclick or onmousover event? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. Popup contents are rendered every time an onclick (or onmouseover) event is triggered. When the popup disappears, it's contents are removed as well, and will be re-rendered the next time the popup is shown. -e --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. [tw] Tag tiddler from tiddler text?
Hello all, I was just wondering, is there a way to tag a tiddler from inside the text? Any help is greatly appreciated. [tw] Re: Autonumber FormTiddler title
On second thoughts I shouldn't make the tiddler title to be an autonumber, just some data field within the form called ID dor instance. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. [tw] Re: Tag tiddler from tiddler text?
I was just wondering, is there a way to tag a tiddler from inside the text? Any help is greatly appreciated. By default, the TW core doesn't provide a way to do that. However, this plugin: http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#AutoTaggerPlugin may be useful, depending upon what you are trying to accomplish. AutoTaggerPlugin has various options to automatically add tags to a tiddler whenever you edit it. One option is to 'scan tiddler content for matching tags': if you have already used a tag of foo on some tiddler(s) and then you enter the word foo within the content of some other tiddler, when you press 'done', that tiddler will automatically get foo added as a tag. Of course, it's not always desirable to automatically scan-and-tag *every* tiddler in a document. For example, if a tiddler makes mention of 'systemConfig' in the text, but is *not* actually a plugin tiddler (e.g., plugin documentation), and this tiddler were to be automatically tagged with 'systemConfig', it would almost certainly cause an error the next time you load the document (because the TW core will attempt to invoke that tiddler as program code during startup). In order to address this, the plugin requires that you indicate when the scan-and-tag handling should be applied to a given tiddler by manually tagging that tiddler with auto. From then on, each time that tiddler is edited, the scan-and-tag action will be performed. If you want to prevent further scanning, you can simply remove the 'auto' tag before pressing 'done'. One important note: scan-and-tag handling only works with text that matches *existing* tags. One way to address this limitation is to pre- define a separate tiddler (e.g., [[MyTags]]) that you manually tag with *all* the tags that you are using in your document. In that way, all the desired tags will already exist by the time you are creating/ editing other tiddlers tagged with auto. enjoy, -e Eric Shulman TiddlyTools / ELS Design Studios --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group.
