Color handling in ncurses is quite a nightmare, especially as every terminal emulator interprets the color settings differently. You have to experiment to find a good solution. But I expect that xterm-256color accepts .Xressources configuration as xterm itself does. 73, de Tom DL1JBE > > -Eric / KK0ECTOn October 1, 2018 at 1:55 PM Thomas Beierlein > wrote: > > > > > > The coming tlf-1.3.1 should support the F-keys in xterm-256color > > too. You can prevent this issue with this way: $ export TERM=xterm $ tlf ... but (after few seconds of testing) don't forget to set up your shortkeys - on my side the F1 opens the help window of Gnome-terminal... you can disable it at this way: edit -> settings -> shortkeys (2nd tab from left) -> scroll to "Help", there is the "F1" -> click to "F1" -> F1 changed to "New shortcut" -> press "BACKSPACE" -> shortcut changed to "Disabled" Hope this helps - I'm using hungarian labels :). 73, Ervin ___ Tlf-devel mailing list Tlf-devel@nongnu.org https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/tlf-devel
