[tbc-users] Re: Can't find property in viewer

2009-01-23 Thread Scott Henninger

Jeff; In Composer, deleting the superproperty should also delete the
subproperty. Warnings will also be given if the property is involved
in restrictions, etc. Not a bad idea to allow opening a property from
the Search window.

In the meantime, you can put the name of any resource in the text box
above the form (which shows the name of the selected resource). Hit
return and it will appear in the form. Command completion is very
useful in this box (and other places), as you can effectively search
for something if you know the first few characters of the name.

clicking on it in the Search window.  Or is there some way and I just
 missed it?

Doh! Totally missed that. Thought about doing that in the Name: field, but
that of course just renames the currently showing entity.

Thanks!

[tbc-users] Re: Can't find property in viewer

2009-01-22 Thread Holger Knublauch
Jeff,

I can't see the images but perhaps it's a subproperty of some other
property or even in a cyclical relationship so that there is no tree
path to display it? It would be helpful to see the property's
properties in detail.

 Search box finds SIFXML:nextAttribute

But can't find it anywhere in the property viewer...

In particular, open SIFXML:nextAttribute in the Property form. This
will tell you if it is a subproperty (of potentially something that is
not a property), what its type is, etc.
