Jim, the new mysb.com account solves everything: favorites visibility on Touch and LMS can log in. Michael saw that there were in fact 2 accounts for the old account email address! Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Favorites visible on mysqueezebox.com, but not in Favorites on Squeezebox Touch
Hello all, You inspired me to find a workaround, it was heartwarming to see how much passion the Squeezebox still generates, I love it. I excluded network and firewall issues, I just created a new MSB account and it works normally now. The other one was linked to an old e-mail address I rarely use and can be deleted. I'll anyway PM it to Michael to have a look if he sees something strange with it. I've installed the latest nightly upgrade for LMS, used the new credentials and it doesn't show me the error anymore. For the sake of completeness, the steps I did and some screenshots you requested: I tried the credentials on LMS running on a completely different machine: Windows 7 without Bitdefender, but didn't work. The factory reset didn't work. Still, with a browser I could connect to MSB, SBT seemed to be connected to MSB (half connected at least, since favorites were stored on MSB but not on SBT itself), LMS showed a wrong credentials error in the logs, even though the ports were ok and MSB IP address could be resolved: 36285362873628636288 Thanks for the help. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Favorites visible on mysqueezebox.com, but not in Favorites on Squeezebox Touch
HI Jim, let the belt out another notch :) The OP, Tim, could also try resetting the SBT (I forgot this in my other reply :o:o) Remove the SBT power plug from the power socket. Press in the small button on the back of the SBT (just above the power inlet) and plug the SBT power back on Wait until you see that the SBT has been reset, then release the button. Let the SBT start up, connect to the Network, by default it connects to MSB, enter your credentials and see what happens ronnie Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115479 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Favorites visible on mysqueezebox.com, but not in Favorites on Squeezebox Touch
I read through the thread and wondered if it's as simple as the touch being connected to TinyLMS (or LMS, but it's not clear if that is running anywhere?)? "My favorites are missing" is often a connection to the wrong server on the touch: settings->advanced->networking->switch to mysqueezebox.com. Note that the "switch to..." being present indicates you are not connected to mysb.com already Jim Redrum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115479 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

Hi Tim The SBT is not connecting to MSB, please post a screenshot, if possible, of your control Panel 36271 Which Windows OS are you using ? Bit Defender is not really needed, please try this; uninstall BitDefender (not halt, pause or disable, but uninstall) reboot the computer and then try to connect to MSB. groetjes ronnie +---+ |Filename: control panel.png| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=36271| +---+ Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115479 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
[SlimDevices: Touch] Favorites visible on mysqueezebox.com, but not in Favorites on Squeezebox Touch
Dear Squeezebox enthusiasts, I've been searching the net and this forum for some days and found many favorite-related topics, but none described the issue I'm facing. The issue: When using mysqueezebox.com (MSB) as server in the Squeezebox Touch (SBT), I am able to create the favorites both via the SBT or MSB, but the list of favorites is only shown in the favorites tab on MSB and can only be played via the remote tab on the MSB site, not in the Favorites list on my SBT home screen itself. That list remains empty. Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong here? My system: Squeezebox Touch Firmware version 7.8.0 r16754 SBT is registered and logged in at mysqueezebox.com, with the same account I used on my web browser to log into MSB and remote and surprised to see the favorites list there, which I added with the SBT but couldn't see on the SBT itself. MSB Datacenter: MySB EU West Enhanced Digital Output (EDO) app installed Externally powered USB 3.0 hub Dragonfly Red Some context of my use case: I want to use the SBT mainly as an internet radio connected to my hifi system via a Dragonfly Red and most of the times use the touchscreen itself or an infrared (IR) remote like a Logitech Harmony 650 to select the favorite internet radio stations in the most old school easy way (so that elderly people could also use it), without using a computer, tablet or having to get up and change collections 3 times or reboot to make things work. Sometimes I would use a tablet to store a new Favorite or control the SBT with an app like Squeezer. To do the above, I think that using MSB as a server suits the best. I don't want to use the Logitech Media Server (LMS), because a computer or NAS needs to be running. I don't want to use the internal Squeezebox server (SBS) either. I tested it with an sd card which only had 1 mp3 on it and when I want to switch to the mysqueezebox.com collection, I needed to restart the internal SBS, switch to a different collection and connect to SBT (SD card) multiple times. It seems that the SBT has a strong will to connect to MSB whenever possible. So when I want to use a tablet or MSB remote to command the SBT, then this SBS option would not be good either. Ironically though, the Favorites work perfectly when using the internal SBS or LMS via pc: when saving them via the SBT itself or via LMS, they are shown in the Favorites in the home screen of the SBT... I don't know if it is important to mention, but with the same credentials I can log into MSB via browser perfectly, but not via LMS. I've tried via ethernet and wiif. Both Bitdefender and Windows Defender firewall allow LMS to make connections, and the following ports are open on my router: 9000 TCP: Web GUI 9090 TCP: CLI (for example used by Android app Squeezer) 3483 TCP: Physical Squeezebox 31337 Latest LMS logs: [21-11-27 11:44:16.5931] main::init (390) Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.2.0, 1627922070, Tue Aug 3 11:28:42 WEDT 2021) perl 5.014001 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread [21-11-27 11:45:10.5653] Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::_error (431) Unable to login to SN: Gebruikersnaam of wachtwoord van mysqueezebox.com ongeldig.
