Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Has anyone a Squeezebox Touch remote left over?

My long experience with remotes is if they work the first 30 days then
they'll pretty much last as long as the device...battery leakage aside.

My original SB Touch remote control bricked after a year or so due to
leaking batteries, and the replacement unit I received from the local
logitech agent also bricked shortly after for some unknown reason.

Frustrated, I got myself a Logitech Harmony 300 programmable remote
control unit and I'm very happy with it. It works seemlessly with my
Touch, so might like to consider that option.

Cheers.

I may have one. What you think it's worth? Shipping from Norway may be
expensive:)
(Why not use iDevices and iPeng app?)

Or, if you want to go free on Android, a lot of people enjoy the
Squeezer App and the official App by Logitech "Logitech Squeezebox
Controller" works fine, as well. Also, the SqueezeCommander App, which a
lot users recommend, is currently on sale.

Download Squeeze Ctrl to your Phone or Tablet for $5 .. It is far
better and more intuitive than the Remote for the SBT.

You will thank me for this !!

Ok good to know. At least it has a different battery. But I would miss
the other functions.

If you don't require certain functions and a keypad, you can get a BOOM
remote for cheap on ebay. When I had a Touch without a remote I bought
one from this seller and it worked great.

They are available on Ebay. Alternatively most if not all Logitech

[SlimDevices: Touch] Has anyone a Squeezebox Touch remote left over?

2016-10-06 Thread AAAlllrightyThen

Hello,
the battery acid destroyed my Squeezebox Touch remote and it is hard to
find another remote.

Maybe someone can help me with my search. Maybe someone doesn't use his
remote at all and wants to sell it to me?
It seems I'm not the only one with this problem. Better you remove the
batteries from the remote, if you don't use it. Or the battery acid
might destroy your remote as well.
Thank you
