Thanks for reporting this bug and help making ubuntu better! I don't know if this bug is special to the ubuntu session or related to the gnome-settings-daemon. Something to check: - installing the gnome vanilla session (sudo apt install gnome-session), reboot and switch to the "GNOME" session in GDM. - you should have the Adwaita theme there. Check if you can reproduce the bug - please report here if you can reproduce it. When you're turning the mouse wheel the notification is showing the volume level. Expected result: The notification stays in one place all the time I change the volume level What happens instead: For some volume values the notification jumps left and right on the screen Short video attached. I'm unable to reproduce this on an up to date install of Ubuntu Artful. Can you please update and see if it still happens?
