[Trac] One-off job offer to customize and polish trac instance
Hi, I'm working with some friends on a free software project and using trac for the website. None of us has much of a clue or time to work on making the site presentable and add a bunch of plugins so we've decided to ask around if anybody wanted the job. There is some money to make, but not much since there's nobody funding this (we have a couple hundred dollars budget). What we're looking for is primarily a customized css to go with our logo and some polishing of things like the newticket form and the reports, but that's all minor stuff and the real work we can't do is the skinning. The deadline is pretty relaxed, having it done by mid november or whereabouts is ok. please contact me off-list if you could be interested and we can discuss compensation and anything you might want to inquiry about. thanks -- Behind every great man there's a great backpack - B. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Trac Users group. [Trac] How get rid of ?version=32 at end of URLs?
I often leave multiple tickets and wiki pages open in browser tabs for a long time. Sometimes I refresh a page and find that it does not contain the latest updates because a specific version number is specified in the URL. It seems that Trac automatically specifies the version number after editing a ticket or wiki page and clicking the submit changes button. I would prefer that it not specify the version. Is there an easy way to change that? I didn't find one in Trac-Hacks. I am using Trac V0.11.1 but would be happy to update if it would make any difference. Thanks for any suggestions. [Trac] Re: How to retrieve style and color informations
Sorry for replying so late, I didn't seen your answer before. I don't see any color/style display possibilities : http://www.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?61c6234e57.png if i don't find any integrated tools, i'll do a little hack by ordering by priorities my tickets in the CSV and thus knowing the order between each ones. I would like to get these columns even for a custom query. I would like to know which col to had to my request : query? groupdesc=1group=priorityformat=csvorder=prioritycol=idcol=summarycol=typecol=statuscol=prioritycol=resolutioncol=descriptioncol=milestonecol=componentcol=timecol=changetime Thank you Fräntz The custom query page already allows you to select which field to group by. Color/styleI'm not so sure about though. Don't think that's really supported yet. Perhaps there could be a ticket for something to that effect; but to implement such functionality with the flexibility provided by an SQL query would be extremely complicated. I don't really have any ideas at the moment, but it might be worth thinking about at least... --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Trac Users group. [Trac] svn log messages for a milestone
If this is already answered, point me there. I did not see anything that looked like this. For the range of dates that define a Milestone in Trac, is it possible to get all the svn commit logs for that range of dates? My preference would be that is it available in a wiki context. And that the Milestone be, perhaps, a parameter, just like it is in a ticket query. I can't imagine no one else has found this interesting, so maybe there is a recipe, or at least a set of guidelines for doing this.. -- Roger Oberholtzer --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Trac Users group. [Trac] Re: read only field
I my case I had to create a custom field called: changesets. This field is only writable by the post-commit-hook (can't be changed by the user) and it's always visible. I didn't use the permissions field to achieve that. 2009/10/2 RJOllos ry...@physiosonics.com On Sep 29, 1:28 pm, Daniel Camargo danielsu...@gmail.com wrote: It worked well for me too, thank you! [Trac] Email2trac and Outlook
We're trying to use email2trac (https://subtrac.sara.nl/oss/email2trac) with Trac 0.11.1. Our standard in-house mailer is Outlook 2003. Our email2trac.conf says: [DEFAULT] project: /opt/trac/eng debug: 0 umask: 022 spam_level: 5 reply_all : 0 mailto_link: 0 umask: 022 email_header: 0 trac_version: 0.11 enable_syslog : 1 alternate_notify_template : alternate_notify_template_update : drop_spam : 0 verbatim_format: 0 strip_signature: 1 email_quote: strip_quotes: 1 ignore_trac_user_settings: 0 black_list: MAILER-DAEMON@ ticket_update: 1 When I get a notification it has a block of ticket details surrounded by long lines of hyphens. When I reply to that notification, the ticket comment seems to include those lines of hyphens as a HR in the wiki markup. When we reply to a notification with Evolution, it seems to work OK (the lines get removed). I don't see why the strip_quotes setting is preserving -... (well, it seems to be stripping the but leaving the --...). Has anyone else encounted this problem? Thanks. http://trac-hacks.org/ticket/5907 will do, I don't handle the case of not having anything in the keywords = list, as I actually use it. the change is only 4 or 5 characters, so I will likely just inline it in the ticket. I may however look at addressing the case you mentioned also. btw, it's a really cool plugin, thanks! It will help save me a TON of greif in ticket scrubbing time. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Trac Users group.
