And I never forgive a guy too who never uses any abbreviation but only Lol and believes that that attitude to be the best appropriate noble modest manners as a non-native English speaker.

You have watched only that scene. note: a spoiler of this great movie. You might miss one of the great art works. He fabricated a police car and police uniform then robbed a bank.

Re: [Trisquel-users] wacom driver
I don't really understand why you started to talk about yakuza in this context though, because "Thank you very macho" is just kind of a Japanese standard greeting, it is called "oyaji gag" (old men's joke) for this kind of a congregational context. However, as I said, I hated yakuza. Because they seemed to be merely childish criminals who merely have resentment against their mothers (my mother didn't love me! don't you too love me like my mother!?...etc). I was the one who was embarrassed watching their resentment... But I started to think that a few of them actually might be cool guys. They might be real yakuza who should be called so. Their living style looks like kind of a gambler's one. I guess they might be the ones who has initially or traditionally to be called yakuza. They are super cool. Totally different from yakuza, but yakuza. Anyway it was just an appropriate oyaji gag for the context. It is standard. Maybe the low standard threshold of the yakuza world made itself bloated that much was the one of the main causes? Please watch Takeshi Kitano's "Hanabi". The hero is super cool. I think he is the one of them who should be called yakuza.

Re: [Trisquel-users] wacom driver
I could not count the number of times I've built or upgraded kernels on Debian stable the past few years. There was no effort - just build and install, or point to jxself's repo and give an apt command. But maybe bringing a kernel in from backports is a lot of trouble for some reason, I did not try that.
Re: [Trisquel-users] wacom driver
Upgrading the kernel for Debian unstable/testing is very easy. Upgrading the kernel for Debian stable is very hard, basically only when there is a newer version in the backport repository. However, if you want to upgrade to a even newer kernel, you would probably have to do what I said. Try to install a copy of Debian stable (4.19 kernel) and try to upgrade it to 5.7 and see what happens.
Re: [Trisquel-users] wacom driver
Thank you very macho. I am currently engaged in designing a car body. I got some sudden inspirations. I am going to sell it to Ferrari.
Re: [Trisquel-users] wacom driver
It seems that that finally began obeying my order (about the terminal D). It seems wiser. Kind of Win-Win. You put me out... I eventually settled in Inkscape after tried several painting software, so it is OK though. The first impression is right as I thought.
Re: [Trisquel-users] wacom driver
That's great news! You need to show us some artwork soon!
Re: [Trisquel-users] wacom driver
I don't know what to think about what you've written here. Changing a kernel on Debian is very simple.
Re: [Trisquel-users] wacom driver
Those are network errors. You aren't contacting the mirrors.
[Trisquel-users] Re : Wifi Qualcomm Atheros AR9287 does not work on Debian 10
Six years ago, VertPingouin, on the French-speaking forum, made that WiFi chipset work by adding "acpi=off" to the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT variable in /etc/default/grub (you can edit that file by executing 'sudo pluma /etc/default/grub' in a terminal), executing 'update-grub' and rebooting: https://trisquel.info/forum/probl%C3%A8me-de-wifi-encore-un#comment-52811
[Trisquel-users] Re : NETIS WF2122 300MBPS WIRELESS N USB ADAPTER
The driver is in the kernel image. If free, the firmware may be in an independent package, such as open-ath8k-htc-firmware. Executing 'lsusb' in a terminal would indicate what is the chipset.
[Trisquel-users] Re : NETIS WF2122 300MBPS WIRELESS N USB ADAPTER
Follow the instructions on https://jxself.org/linux-libre/ (and notice that the 4.4 version is supported until January 2022, which is not that far away).
Re: [Trisquel-users] wacom driver
I don't have any good idea on manually updating kernel on a fixed-release distribution. Typically you have to rely on backports. I once tried to do so on Debian stable, but when I wanted to manually install a new kernel, I had to first manually gather all its dependencies unavailable in the stable repository, and hope there would be no conflict.
Re: [Trisquel-users] Wifi Qualcomm Atheros AR9287 does not work on Debian 10
The image I downloaded is https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current-live/amd64/bt-hybrid/debian-live-10.4.0-amd64-gnome.iso.torrent I don't know which image you want me to try, but you could pass me the link. Thanks
Re: [Trisquel-users] Wifi Qualcomm Atheros AR9287 does not work on Debian 10
Try another Debian installation media, for example the 10.4 binary installation DVD image, or the weekly build of Debian Installer (testing). If your AR9287 still works under Debian 9 (old stable), then there is nothing wrong with it. Like other ath5k/9k cards, it requires no firmware. Even if you want to load some firmware, it has no dedicated storagte to hold it and no dedicated processor to execute it.
[Trisquel-users] Wifi Qualcomm Atheros AR9287 does not work on Debian 10
Hi, until a few days ago I had Debian 9 installed and my wifi works without any problems, without requiring the installation of any package. My wifi board is next: 2:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR9287 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01) Subsystem: Foxconn International, Inc. T77H167.00 Kernel driver in use: ath9k Kernel modules: ath9k My current system is Debian 9.12 stretch with 4.9.0-12-amd64 kernel. My wifi board on this system works without problems, once you run debian 9 live, you can connect to wifi networks. Yesterday afternoon I decided to install Debian 10, but I encountered the problem that my wifi board is not recognized, which made it impossible to connect to a network. Therefore I had to go back to Debian 9. This problem occurs with debian 10 live or installed on the hard drive. My question is, what is the cause of the problem on debian 10? Is there a solution to it? Is my board no longer supported? I hope you can help me, thank you very much.

Re: [Trisquel-users] NETIS WF2122 300MBPS WIRELESS N USB ADAPTER
how do you install free kernel 4.4.x on debian 10? Thank you.
