Re: [Trisquel-users] Problem in Firefox disables all add-ons - Abrowser and IceCat could be affected too
I haven't faced any problem about add-ons using GNU Icecat 60.3.0 ESR
Re: [Trisquel-users] Problem in Firefox disables all add-ons - Abrowser and IceCat could be affected too
I'm using Debian testing and unstable. Both versions have been fixed. I temporarily disabled the signature verification by going to the "about:config" page.

When I compared pulseaudio to systemd, I was not comparing what they do to each other, I was comparing the amount of issues each have in comparison to their counterparts aka, alternatives. PS, yeah perhaps I do need to re-evaluate webextensions and pulseaudio. Systemd on the other hand, I just don't see myself doing that. As for this: "The post-truth politics apparently works very well on social media. Like-minded people turn into hooligans that way. Facts are not checked there: apparently, nobody enters the anti-Trump group or anti-Hillary group or anti-Mozilla group or anti-systemd group or ... to check whether the news confirming his/her bias are fake. Anything bad is "because of the enemy", even if "the enemy" does not relate to the problem in any way: the truth does not matter." Yeah, I don't see that is being true for me with regard to mister Trump or Hillary, quite frankly, I disliked both of them and didn't trust either. I voted for Hillary, only because I thought trump would be ten thousand times worse. Keep in mind when you showed me evidence about pulseaudio vs alsa, I did admit that pulseaudio wasn't as bad as I thought. Actually, it would probably be better if all distros switched to sndio for their sound system, at least by default anyways. Though everyone should have their own choice aka, not required, but can be replaced. OpenBSD may be full of elites, but they know security and make all code open source by default and by that I mean, both proprietary and free software uses are allowed. Which isn't as good to me, but meh...

Yeah, the way you started that reply doesn't really garner respect from me. Maybe webextensions isn't as I think, maybe systemd isn't as bad as I think... Although its also possible the reverse too, either way though... tell me, have you ever looked up librefox before? If you ever stop using a free software distro for any reason which I doubt or one that isn't free by default, again I doubt this, it also has webextensions but its meant to be more private by default. PS: I will give you one thing if it means anything, pulseaudio is nowhere near as bad as systemd. Matter of fact, alsa and pulse are probably not much different in the amount of flaws. That being said as well, this has done none of us any good. zzz...

I was affected by the glitch. I installed Fedora 30 and couldn't download extensions yesterday. The fix was to enable Firefox's data collection and studies. That solved the glitch but I think it's meant to be ad interim.
