[twsocket] THttpServer
Hello Francois, I'm trying to write a program that uses the THttpServer (ICS version 6) component in Borland Studio. As mentioned in one of the FAQ the use of __classid() will resolve the problem of being unable to assign the ClientClass of the THttpServer. When I assign my custom class derived from THttpConnection I get 2 unresoved linker error: [Linker Error] Error: Unresolved external '__fastcall Overbyteicswsocket::TCustomWSocket::Send(void * const, int)' referenced from D:\PROJECTS\BORLAND STUDIO\SERVER\CUSTOMHTTPCONNECTIONSRC.OBJ [Linker Error] Error: Unresolved external '__fastcall Overbyteicswsocket::TCustomWSocket::SendTo(const sockaddr_in, int, void * const, int)' referenced from D:\PROJECTS\BORLAND STUDIO\SERVER\CUSTOMHTTPCONNECTIONSRC.OBJ I've used the ICS version 5 with Delphi an C++ Builder in the same manner and without any problems. Can you give me any tips or advice on how to resolve this? Or is this a small bug as this version is a Beta untested for C++ Builder? Also I've got a small test project without any additional code or components, it's just trying to assign the ClientClass and is also giving the same error. So if anyone would require this please let me know. If there is any information I left out, please let me know. [twsocket] Web-server test
Hi, All! Could someone recommend a decent web-server test tool, which includes not only a stress test, but also different kinds of improper requests (fake HTTP requests, fragmented packets, very long URLs, etc.), i.e. most of the traffic that a malicious software can generate? I'm asking here because it is related to an ICS-based application testing ;-). Thanks in advance. Best wishes, Stanislav Korotky. -- To unsubscribe or change your settings for TWSocket mailing list please goto http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/twsocket Visit our website at http://www.overbyte.be
Re: [twsocket] THttpServer
Probably you should make available somewhere a small test (the smallest possible actually) which reproduce the problem so that the one willing to investigate can do it in a snap. [twsocket] OT... RE: Register your ICS !
OT... Ok, I comin' clean! I am an evil procrastinator that needs to register my ICS. I repent of my procrastination and (once again) commit to send a post card out shortly... :) In my defense, I intend to join PA (Procrastinators Anonymous) soon, tomorrow maybe?!?! Wait... I'm busy tomorrow, so maybe on Monday, as Friday's are always so hectic! h... Actually, part of the problem is that I have moved to a rather drab geographic area. Over the years, I have lived all over the U.S., in some strikingly beautiful locations. However, while the place I live now is moderately picturesque, it doesn't compare with the other places I have lived and visited. So, actually, I think I have been suffering from topographical inhibitions, where I am embarrassed to send plain, dull postcards of my current locale. However, in the interest of submission, compliance and general camaraderie, I will send you a boring, drab postcard as you have requested. Maybe I will send you a package as well; with some pictures of the awesome, striking places I have lived and visited here in the U.S. For example, check out these pictures from my website of a trip I took in 2004 in the U.S. Northwest. I am definitely an amateur photographer, but these aren't too bad: http://www.romans618.org/hojotravels/showpic.php?PICNAME=images/standard/gla cierpics/glacierpics03.JPG http://www.romans618.org/hojotravels/tripday37.php http://www.romans618.org/hojotravels/showpic.php?PICNAME=images/standard/cra terpics/craterpics07.JPG http://www.romans618.org/hojotravels/tripday20.php http://www.romans618.org/hojotravels/showpic.php?PICNAME=images/standard/coo spics/coospics01.JPG http://www.romans618.org/hojotravels/tripday24.php Anyway, sorry it has taken so long. I will send one soon... :) ICS ROCKS! Re: [twsocket] THttpserver Componet
I am using ICS THttpserver Component.i created a webserver .so i want to know that does this component support ISAPI application. Someone wrote ISAPI/CGI support. See usermade page at my website. This code probably need a little refresh. btw: basically ISAPI/CGI is completely against the idea of having a webserver 100% written in Delphi, unless you have existing ISAPI/CGI to execute. Everything yoiu can do with an ISAPI/CGI can be done must easier and with much more performance than using an ISAPI or a CGI. Contribute to the SSL Effort.
