RE: [U2] cron/printer memory segment removed message
Doug, What it is doing is a good thing and is alerting you to a problem you are obviously having. It's cleaning up the memory segment that was left by an aborted process. If you continue to get these messages on a regular basis then you should look into what is running that is aborting prematurely, possibly running out of disk or memory. Root (and yes I know its bad but its how they have always done things here, which I am slowly trying to change) gets a lot of these message from cron thanks, dougc --- u2-users mailing list u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/ --- u2-users mailing list u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/

Root (and yes I know its bad but its how they have always done things here, which I am slowly trying to change) gets a lot of these message from cron That's typically the message you get from UV when the prior UV process for that user terminated abnormally. It's useful info in that regard since it's telling you something's wrong. Any chance you still have some UV cron jobs running in the foreground? -John --- u2-users mailing list u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/
